I don't doubt Ei can cover the distance quickly, but don't act like Mei exhaling a mist is going to take a long time. She doesn't need the mist to travel any great distance either, because Ei is running straight into it.


Speedblitzing is being so fast that you can hit someone before they have any time to react at all whatsoever. Something that rarely ever happens in the manga, ever. You're also wording Mei's mist in such a way that it sounds slow, where as if you actually look at the page in which she uses it [Chapter 466, page 4] it travels the distance between herself and Sasuke very quickly. Ei has also never shown any resistance to corrosive damage, assuming that his Raiton Armour would very useful in blocking out the effects of her mist is rather baseless.

1) I have run into that logic before in debaters but the operative word in my last post was good debaters.

My argument is that people need to see that it isn't as simple as " Speedblitzlol ". Mei is durable, Mei isn't so slow that she can't raise her arms in front of her face as a natural reflex action before Ei knocks her flying, Mei isn't so slow that she can't spew some mist before getting hit. Sure Mei can't effectively dodge or skillfully react to Ei, but she isn't getting killed before she has time to register that Ei has even moved.

2.) Any durability feats you have for us or are we supposed to take your word for it. Yeah she can raise her arms in front of her face as a reflex but that's pretty much it, that's all Madara could do too lol. Don't pretend like it's some mediocre feat even managing that shows that someone's a master shinobi, Madara's an expert swordsmen and has sharingan and he barely reacted to getting speedblitzed from around the same distance the OP specifies by A. But unlike Mei, Madara has Susano'o and Edo Regeneration so him getting punched by A is far less damaging.

And lol at your attempt to degrade my post with your flawed argument - get your facts straight before insulting mine. Bee ripped open Sasuke's chest in his Three tailed form, where by Sasuke's own admission he had increased speed and power. He didn't do it in base. Ei might be able to slice Mei's head off, sure. Lariat it off? I seriously doubt it.

3.) Someone's a little aggressive. I didn't say that it wasn't Bee's cloaked form as a matter of fact I mentioned that later in my post when mentioning the threshold for Sasuke's reaction speed. As for using the Lariat in case you forgot A and Bee need their strength to be matched exactly to use the Double Lariat (remember that long flashback they had about the first time they met). And when they performed the move to decapitate Kisame Bee was in a cloaked form with more than three tails. So A's Lariat was able to match that power, and speed isn't a problem. My logic was sound.

It is too bad we don't know strong Mei's lava is.

For example one can easily argue that Raikage ignores the damage and plows through unless of course 100 meters is enough for Mei to react and jump out of the way as well. Won't be surprised of the latter.

Well it's lava I'd assume it's pretty strong and Madara couldn't let himself touch it, A would get burned almost immediately and his armor isn't a guaranteed defense for either acid or lava. So if A wins he wouldn't be able to do it without taking major damage, similar to the outcome of his fight with Sasuke. Also Mei can use a giant water wall and water dragon to push A back and regain her distance.

I could easily see A evading the water jutsus even with range its the lava that is the problem.

Perhaps she can use it as a way to zone A out and kill him that really is her chance anyway. There is also that acidic jutsu to consider which she is also immune to.

Sasuke dodged the lava pretty easily iirc, or maybe it was just Susanoo. It's not gonna be really fast, it's lava, known for moving slow. Sasuke can shoot super fast flames from his eyes and get healed two ways to sunday any chance he gets. I don't think the location is in an enclosed space which is what Mei needs for the acid to be potent enough to maim or kill A. A could just whack a water dragon out of the way and keep moving.

Sasuke didn't dodge the lava. He had to use Susanoo to save himself. Granted he was very worn out by then.

I think the only way is to use Boil to surrond her for defense but A can just charge right through it

Lava style is pretty slow give A credit he is doing more in the war than Mei EVEN WITH ONE ARM

Nope susanoo.

The fact that mei can make a lot of it makes up for the speed, also, its lava made from chakra being expelled forcefully so it's going to be faster.

Mei doesn't need an enclosed space to use acid. The only reason she needed one in the kage summit was because if it leaked out it could harm the other Kages, and she wouldn't want that.

One does not simply whack away a water dragon. It's made of water, thus A's fist will go through it. Actually in the manga A and mei did a combination attack where he put his fist in the water dragon causing it to be electrified.

Sorry but Sora is right. Mei really stand NO chance in this fight. Remember were talking about the fastest shinobi alive. A clashed with KCM naruto and didnt get blitzed. His speed is able to compete with instant teleportation.(Minato)

So lets say A wont close the distance in .1 seconds how do any of meis attacks hit him. Were talking about the guy who DODGED/SIDESTEPPED a POINT BLANK amaterasu. A technique thats extremely fast a requires no handseals. What does mei have that is faster amaterasu?

A can dodge anything she throws at him while he closes the distance.

So now he is nearly in taijutsu range lets say she still doesnt get blitzed/Karate Chopped and she makes a lava wall and acid mist cloud.(which she wont be able to)
The Lava wall wont dont anything. A casually breaks through walls(without his armor) just because he doesnt want to use a door. A Broke through Susanoo ribs. Hardened Lava is like wood for him.
On to the mist yes its deadly but A would crush through the wall get near mei , Liger Bomb her and get out before its gets real nasty.

You can also assume that A 's Lightning Armor would atleast slow the effect of the Mist down.
Speed And Strenght wise she cant compete with A.

So A ends up with "Bad Skin" and mei ends up well dead since doesnt have a susanoo to protect her from breaking her spine.

You guys are right in that A can dodge plenty of Mei's attacks. But regardless of whether he wins mei isn't gonna get fodderized since most people think that's what happens in every A fight.

What are you talking about? A can activate the armor INSTANTLY. Remember when Naruto was trying to escape and go to the war in his RM Cloak. He tried to body flicker past A and he'd thought he'd made a clean get away before getting clocked by A in his raiton armor. A was also in his base form against Minato and within an instant he'd gone full power and was going about to punch Minato in the face. With such a short starting distance there is literally no way Mei stops that from happening to her.

Madara failed, Zetsu failed, Naruto failed...the only two people that have successfully evaded that speedblitz without prior warning have been Tobi and Minato. Unless you want to say Mei's reaction feats are on the level of those two it's speedblitz ftw.

The starting distance here isn't even the same as in those cases. In Minato's case, they were quite close and Minato still managed to throw kunai before A blitz.

Moreover, chapter 563 shows A and Mei activating their moves in the exact same panel at the exact same time, no use denying the manga.
