Your right, its not the same, but it has the same meaning from the word.

Just explained differently.

Sage Mode is the result of using natural energy along with a ninja's normal chakra in perfect balance to drastically empower their abilities.

AND

Sage Transformation is an ability in which increases the physical abilities and allows the body to perform various shape-shifting feats due to the innate ability to passively absorb natural energy.

I know. But people are not comparing Sage Transformation with Sage Mode, saying they are not the same because one belongs to Jugo's Clan and the other is for Kabuto, Naruto, and Jiraya
