Mifune, because he's WAY faster, so Hidan can't eat/drink his blood or whatever. Mifune is so much better with a sword. AND he's a boss.

Mifune is so fast that he can prevent someone from making hand signs

Hidan because he is immortal and has no way of immobilising him and he has no prep.
The conditions for winning are too easy for hidan he only has to scrath a close range fighter. Iai wont be that much of a problem since hidan doesnt use handseals. If hidan gets the blood(which his weapons in specialized in if i remember it correctly) all he has to do is run for bit and while mifune is catching up he does the ritual.

I suppose there's going to be the argument that Mifune won't understand what the curse jutsu is...but does he really need to? Pretty much the whole reason Hidan
was able to make the curse jutsu was because of Kakuzu's surprise attack and
Team IzumoxKotetsu standing dumbfounded.

I don't see Mifune standing around being like "Gee I wonder what he's doing
painting blood on the ground?" Whether or not Mifune realizes what Hidan
is doing, doesn't matter. Mifune is gonna just rush hidan and slice him.

If Hidan isn't dead. He'll slice him again.

Injured Asuma speed blitz Hidan (of course he was injured too). So I'm pretty sure Mifune would annihilate...before Hidan even has a chance to make that circle.

Besides that Mifune could just block Hidan's scythe.

Iai WILL be a big problem for Hidan since Mifune is much faster than Hidan.

Hidan isn't going to scratch Mifune because Mifune can just parry.
Remember Mifune is pretty much the best samurai. I think he can
block Hidan's scythe. Asuma fought with trench knives. Mifune
has a sword. That makes a huge difference.

Dont you think asuma would of thought of that i mean he is a high level jonin and the son of a hokage yet hidan made the circle before asuma could do anything about it. Mifune may back up in case he thinks its a trap or a distraction. And its not like hidan is a amateur close range fighter i mean he fought and countered asumas attacks and he is a s-rank criminal. Mifune is not even aware of hidans immortality so he would just lets say stab hidan through the heart thinking he won and then hidan only has to do a quick counter to get his blood.

Mifune doesnt need knowledge to immobilize Hidan. His style of fighting already revolves around slicing attacks. He even has an attack called Iai Beheading. As such, Hidan gets beheaded. Given that Mifune wouldn't even let Hanzo weave hand seals, it's highly unlikely that he'll let Hidan create a suspicious seal on the ground either.

Hidan isnt a living pratice doll he can block/guard/evade attacks to. When he fought hanzo he didnt went immidiately for his head so why would he now especially since he has no knowledge. And Mifune has no reason to cut all of his limbs off he has no knowledge.

Why for all he knows its a trap or a distraction what experienced opponent simply blindly rushes in without knowing/observing what his enemy is going to do.(or atleast have a vague idea of it). How does hidan get beheaded just because thats the techniques name. Again hidan isnt some human pratice doll. He can guard and his skills have been enough to make him a s-rank criminal and to join akatsuki. also Hidan has the element of suprise on his side because they both have no knowledge.

You think he wouldnt take that risk? Then why not shoot some samurai chakra blast at him or something.

I was saying that beheading people or slicing them up is part of Mifune's style, so he doesn't need to know that Hidan is immortal to immobilize him, being that if he just cuts his head off he won't be able to fight. Mifune has the skills to fight off hanzo who is an s rank fighter, as well as become the leader of samurai. So Hidan's akatsuki hype won't do anything for him here.

It isnt Hype hidan succesfully fought off and killed asuma and high ranked jonin and a expert in close range combat. Mifune probably is tougher then asuma but what does that matter with no knowledge. Hidan could hypotheticly run and hide in some bush make the circle and then kill him.

Hidan also has range advantage and he himself is specialized in close range combat he wouldnt be much of a s-Rank Criminal if everything that a bit stronger then him could instantly slice him to bits. Your Making it sounds like hidan is a big sausage waiting to be sliced i mean dont you think hidan would atleast make the effort to not get decapitated and guard some of mifune attacks?

Mifune would stomp(extremely hard) With knowledge but he doesnt have it.

Just look at the difference between hidan vs asuma and hidan vs shikamaru the knowledge matters THAT much against hidan.

What can Mifune do in this fight what asuma couldnt?

Again, hype doesn't take Hidan very far, and Mifune and Asuma are two very different fighters. I don't believe that Hidan would let himself get decapitated very easily. But Mifune isnt going to stand there and let him do as he pleases, either. He's known for attacking quickly.

Thats why i said hypotheticly hidan doesnt have to stand stand still before mifune making the circle and waiting to be beheaded could throw his scythe as distraction throw his extendable stake thingy and kunai if he has any , make a funny face idk.

Did hanzo try to flee during their fight?(i Because dont remeber any chase scenes of mifune where it shows that hes fast at pursuing his enemys)

I don't even know seeing as I barely paid attention to the fight, but he did blitz Hanzo at some point.

Mifune did indeed blitz hanzo. He almost incapacitated him before he could even make a handsign.

The only issue Mifune would have is that Hidan can use his weapon for long ranged attacks
