although its out of character to use bijuu bomb right off the bat i believe that if kisame just waited in the water too long and naruto stayed on the island that naruto would grow impatient eventually and bomb the crap out of kisame

thats debatable, giant shark missile absorbs TBB in theory, it has never been shown to absorb that powerful of a blast

and it was never shown it could not. IT says it can eat/absorb ninjutsu and TBB is ninjutsu

Kisame has bijuu strenght and it is easier/ faster to do Giant water shark Missle than TBB
