Generations Trainees

Okay, so the past few times I've played this game, I've noticed something odd. I want to know if anyone else has encountered this...

I'm the kind of person who only fights players who are around my rank or lower, as to avoid getting stuck with a person who fights like a [insert profanity here] just to win. Naturally, I come across a few trainees, so I fight them.

I've encountered five or six completely different trainees who all have the skills of someone who is a MUCH higher rank. All of them fought in pretty much the same way, too. They would pick some random team combination, spam their chakra dash and their supports, all while perfectly evading every single one of my attacks, until my guard breaks. They would repeat this process until I essentially lose. I got frustrated to the point where I started to spam them back. Each and every single trainee was able to counter the spam perfectly.

Honestly, if it was just one or two trainees who did this, I wouldn't be so annoyed by this. Six trainees is a little ridiculous. Has anyone else encountered something like this?

Well I was one of those trainees.

Just got the game for xbox after playing PS3 for months.

TBH, I was probably one of those trainees as well. I usually sign into the game without selecting my save file so my rank is pretty much reset just to troll people.

Those kinds of players either played the game on the other system or played the previous game before Generations.

I did that too....i remember defeating many heroes as a trainee. Why does it seem so strange to you?
