Greetings and salutations $username!

It's summertime and school is out, so slice that Number 2 pencil in half because all you need to do is CLICK! Member of the Month voting is in session so get your vote in by July 1st!

We've got some top-notch candidates this month, some truly cream of the crop forum-goers. Maybe not as creamy as $username, but they've been shining pretty brightly as of late! And the nominations are:

Boxhead327 - Friendly, cool, posts a ton, would never flame a fly.

Jonesy - All over the place righting wrongs, assisting the newbies, displaying legit Naruto knowledge

Muffintop - Revived this very Member of the Month contest, and the War System

Shikamaru Nara - Helps out dudes at every chance, keeps the BG in check.

SRhyse - Workin' hard behind the scenes, expanding the forums before your eyes.

TheBlackChidori - Mastermind behind the forum's most popular attraction: the Trivia Contest. 'Nuff said.

Trouble88 - Dominating the trivia contest, master Pokemon trainer.

Admins can create award categories and awards for people and mods can distribute them through the MCP, but I'm pretty sure it's just a test at the moment.

As for dice, nobody really needs them, they're just cool.

Ya, the dice are there for anyone to make use of them in their various forum games and things like that.

The medals are still being feeled out for how we'll use them, but they're looking to be a combination of achievements and awards.

I was more wondering how they are supposed to be used?

I don't get them.

What does 1d2 mean? Why did I get a result of 1. Why not 7? Why not Bacon? Mmm. Bacon?

I'm confused! And I'm a mod in the forum games! I should know this so I can ~~abuse the system~~
provide a funner and more engaging environment for all the little kids.

The first number is the number of dice to be rolled. In your example it's 1. The second number is the number of sides on the die being rolled. In your example it's 7.

So 1d7 is like rolling 1 7 sided die. In your case, it happened to land on 1.
