RUMOR- Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 coming 2013?

We will have to see it to believe it, but our heart certain skipped and beat, or two, upon reading this. Again, as the title says, this is a rumor! Lets wait to see if Shonen Jump delivers any exciting news to us. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, we would love it, that is for sure!

^ WRONG!. "A rumor has surfaced on Japanese websites that the next issue of the Japanese weekly magazine Shonen Jump contains an announcement for a new Naruto Shippuden game. The rumor is that the popular Naruto Shippuden series will be getting a second "real" sequel in the form of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3."

im so pumped. I know the story mode(mostly the boss battles) are going to be sick. omg I cant wait to fight tobi and his six paths or madara. Man its going to be so epic. i hope they all all the tailed demons since we have seen them fight already. Man they better have everybody! and some new moves

a release date on 2013 would make sense though...considering all the material we will have from the anime and manga from this year alone.

Well, generations was sortof a filler, wasnt it? Didnt CC2 say that? So it makes sense for them to announce storm 3 right after they are done with generations, "the filler," because it's been awhile since a storm number game came out.

i think its based on a monthly release and apparently this months was released so next month would reveal this rumor to be true or not.

This is awesome! I have always wanted to see another UNS2 type game be developed and my wish has finally come true! I really hope they make a PS3 game that covers every single part of Naruto and Shippuden when the series ends so people can play the entirety of the series, including anime fillers for ages!

I believe it comes out every Monday in Japan unless there's some kind of holiday.

Checked CC2's twitter, and when asked about the rumour, the CC2 representative said that "he cannot comment on them". This is highly suspicious, as he usually immediately rules out false information when asked about it. If he says he can't comment on this, then it must be true. He would have ruled it out if it was false otherwise.

He also says that he'll be taking a day off tomorrow and that he's looking forward to tweeting on Monday, which is very convenient, since that's when the new Jump Issue should be coming out.

I thought it was for shonen jump and that comes out the beginning of each month

I don't know if I'm convinced or not. It seems too soon after Generations, unless they've secretly been working on it since before Generations and just wanted to give us something to keep us happy. We knew about Storm 2 for like a year before it came out...I wouldn't be surprised if they same is true for 3.

yeah i saw someone say it was monthly so i thought this one was diffrent from the weekly one but the shounen jump is indeed released weekly so in 2 days we should see this!

hmm it does look like all the pieces are falling into place cant wait.

what do you guys think it will show anyway? new characters like generations did?
