Sitiuation: Deidara stole Kakazu's cash to make art and then Kakazu ridcules Deidara's art so they go into an all out battle

Location: Where kakazu and naruto fought

Status: Both characters are in the prime and are in character. Kakazu has 5 hearts and Deidara has his usually amount of clay

Restriction: ( if deidara uses C0 thath means he loses)

Both have full knowledge of each other distance is a 10 ft away


I say kakazu wins with mid difficulty. Kakazu has the experience and Deidara goes scatter brain when someone ridcules his art.

Kakuzu got this.it is debatfull if explosions can pierce iron skin.

Its kinda like pokemon if a pokemon uses explosion that means the user didnt have any other options and the user dies .

But yeah Kakazu wins. he has 5 lives and they can go up in the air and chase him

Well couldn't some of Deidara's explosions take out one or two of the hearts? Or is he to slow?

well Kakazu has knowledge so is aware of his speed but the lightting heart has to be faster and is more agile than his clay. so in the air he has to worry about lighting water and earth heart( if they all can fly)

then kakazu merges with the fire and wind heart to destroy bombs on land.

full knowledge forces Deidara to use C4 or C3 very quickly while maybe using a C1 for a hopeful blindside while attempting to gain distance soon as possible.

As for Kakuzu it will make him attempt a blitz at 10 feet with thread or if that fails unleash hearts and start elemental spam with lightning heart at the ready use

I'm pretty sure that Kakuzu can spam the explosives away with Wind Release.

And Iron Skin protects him from whatever else.
Although C4 is impossible to counter.

In my opinion Kakuzu wins, or it's a stalemate.

Deidara is not a very strong fighter he spams random bombs and is only a long range fighter.

kakazu is both long range and close range plus he is smarter than Deidara.

Yes but his exhausted and armless self was able to evade Team Gai in close combat.

kakazu is both long range and close range plus he is smarter than Deidara.

Smarter as in combat experience yes.

But Deidara has shown better misdirection. Kakuzu is just more straightfoward.

Also Kakuzu's smarts did not prevent him from getting trolled by Naruto's shadow clone maneuver. Although I blame this partly on plot.

I'm biased towards Deidara (I'll admit.) in this fight, but i'm going to try and ignore that for this post.

Kakuzu has the right tools to defeat Deidara: iron skin to protect him from C1, the Lightning mask which counters most of Deidara's bombs, and just the fact that his masks can fly allows him to be able to keep up with Deidara in the air. All of this coupled with the fact that Deidara isn't all that good at evasion makes it easier for Kakuzu to win.

Deidara's only hope, aside from C0, is to use C4. This is because C1-C3 would all be countered by iron skin and Lightning mask. Kakuzu cannot counter C4 in any way. It doesn't matter if the masks can't breathe in the bombs because once Kakuzu's body has disintegrated, he is dead. There is no body for the hearts to go back into. At that point, Deidara has won.

It all comes down to whether Deidara can fire off a good C4 and hit Kazuzu with it. Either Kakuzu is going to kill Deidara before he can get a C4 off, or Deidara manages to use C4 on Kakuzu and win the battle. imo the latter seems more likely due to Deidara's ability to use deception effectively.

So imo, Deidara=Winner.

I could have replied by saying, he is strong but then I appealed to the manga directly.

Pain is the de facto leader and knows his subordinates.

The point is that regardless between KAkuzu and Deidara, the manga indirectly acknowledges Deidara's strength.

Also the conditions are at 10 feet and Kakuzu is in bloodlust, there is much he can do compared to Deidara at the range and state of mind.

His threads are very fast after all.

Nixa Hyuga.While deidara is in the air preparing C4 Kakuzu's threads and 4 masks follow and shoot him with elemental attacks.

Can't Kakuzu like put lighting mask in him to counter c4 or something?or no?
