The map
This isn't guaranteed 100%, but here's the thing.
At the end of the chapter, it shows a bird's eye view of the battlefield and the Edo Tensei's being sealed. Now, the least number of beams of lights in any give group are 2. I think it is safe to say that Madara and the Kage have strayed from their original location, so Madara and Muu aren't that close, at least definately not as close as some of the other beams. That means, if Madara was being sealed along with the others, there would be a singular light, not close to any of the others, all by itself. Do you see that? No. Madara stays. |

The truth is we don't know as of now because there isn't any proof as of why he would stay. Regardless of the powers he has, he's still just a summon by the Edo Tensei technique, and the summoner has just call off the technique, if Madara does stay, I'm sure it's a technique that he used that's going to cost him his eye(s). If he does stay & stay in peak condition, who's going to stop him exactly? The only person that can go up against him is Naruto, but he is busy with Tobi, there's Sasuke too, but right now he just can't compete with Madara, though it can be one of those battles with Sasuke gets a power up to match him, then Naruto, but what motivation will Sasuke have for fighting Madara? In reality, Madara will likely leave in the next chapter as he about to finish the Kages off, people just don't want him to leave so they're making up theories for him to stay.
