the guy was a rival of the third hokage in his prime and when Sarutobi suffered hold age massively, Danzo despite being mangled and horribly crippled still had a monster chakra reserve to power dozens of elite techs

they wouldn't be restraining him he'd be punking them

Danzo is the only that can speak and not sound like an idiot. Probably because Kishi has him say things Kishi doesn't believe. Whereas all the Itachi philosophical BS he actually believes.

Not gonna lie, Danzo whipped out probably the most awesome abilities ever and had some pretty deep character development. I consider him second only to oro in terms of best villany, since oro started in PTS and is still highly relevant in the recent chapters.
