ss3 gotenks vs ss3 goku

But out of the options I'd say Gotenks considering everything that lead up to it.

SSJ3 gotenks was about on par with buu. Gotenks has a higher power level than Goku, but Goku might win due to experience and having a better fighting technique

IIRC SS3 Goku's Kamehameha was so strong it split the moon in half which Gotenks has never shown.

If we ignore Gotenks' 30 min time limit, Gotenks should win
Gotenks was putting a fair battle against Super Buu while Goku outright said that he wouldn't be able to beat him

Are you going based off of the Budokai 2 intro?? Also piccolo destroyed the moon during the saiyan saga so that's not an impressive feat.

ss3 goku. cause ss3 gotenks. being combined, they only have a limted amount of time to be in that state. so with goku being 1 half of the combined son's father. all he has to do is play it straight and just wait for the transformation to split

Post RoSaT base Gotenks is stated to be strong enough to fight Fat Buu evenly, stated by both Piccolo and Gotenks himself.

Base Gotenks therefore >>> Ssj2 Goku, who needed ssj3 to even stall Buu.

Ssj1 Gotenks is very massive overkill. Ssj3 Gotenks can flat out punch Goku's head off his shoulders into orbit.
