Tsunade vs. Base Itachi
Location & Distance: Sasuke vs Deidara
Mindset: IC, but to kill Restrictions: Katsuyu, MS, Rock-throwing Knowledge: Reputation, (Itachi knows Tsunade is the world's greatest Medic-nin, Tsunade knows Itachi is an Akatasuki member and an Uchiha) Scenario 2: Same, except Genjutsu is restricted. Itachi gets Sasuke's Sword. Who wins?

Scenario 1- Genjutsu wins, I think that Tsunade has never shown any resiliance to genjutsu
Scenario 2- Tsunade wins, she just keeps running to Itachi and tries to punch untill she lands a hit, she tanks anything Itachi has

At this point it's pretty obvious how to counter the Sharingan. Just avoid looking at Itachi's eyes. And she can just release the genjutsu on her own anyway.
Why did you give him Sasuke's sword? Itachi has a sword of his own and Itachi can't use Raiton with it since it's not his type.

tsunade is a kage of a village who knew about shisui and itachis prowess. i think she would simply avoid contact like with madara. and its not like shes crap at chakra control which is essential for genjutsu breaking. when has IC itachi cut someones head off?
scenario 2: same thing. tsuande can survive anything he throws at her and one touch, then hes done cos he cant move (body pathway derangement). as for shurikens. when have they killed anyone? cant tsunade rip up the rock from the ground to use as a shield? |

Scenario 1:
Itachi wins: Advanced shuriken jutsu. Strong fire style jutsu (like all uchiha) Can put her in genjutsu with the point of a finger. Can predict her movements(sharingan) Tsunade can heal and hit hard. The latter wont matter because he can simply keep her at long range and even if she gets close he can predict her moves with sharingan. Scenario 2 .Maybe she can just outlast him and strike when he is tired. Tsunade wins if she can survive until itachi is tired.

1st scenario is Tsuande stomp
2nd scebario depends on the distance but most likey Itachi wins Tsunade can win but it would be out of character |
