The Slug Princess : Tsunade Guide

Here's a guide to the best character in the game, Tsunade Senju. That may not be her last name, but it sounds cool, so screw you.

Acronyms: U1=Jutsu, U2=Ultimate Jutsu, U3= Team Ultimate, NMC: Ninja Move cancel, op:Opponent, SB: Sendback/knockback, the pref: preferred

Heavan Kick of Pain: This is Tsunade's best feature. Her air jutsu is hella fast, but has a pretty small range. The higher you are in the air when you use it, the farther you will go. Her ground jutsu is essentially the same, but has a longer range and a tad slower startup time. The jutsu knocks the opponent in the air in a tech-able state. Hitbox is a decent small circle around her about the size of Itachi's Susanoo ultimate hitbox, maybe bigger. The vertical on the hitbox is insane and unrealistic. There are so many options with this jutsu its crazy.

To name a few:
U1>Bomb ball>SB>U1>Air combo
U1>Air combo>Hit stun cancel it>U1
U1>U2
U1>Grab
U1>U1>U1


The right supports can make these combos last so long. I made one that does about 60% damage

Combos:

The only combos you should ever use are her Up, side, and neutral combos. Neutral does the most damage. Up is good for making a longer combo. Near the end of the combo, a called support can get caught in the hitbox. Down is pretty much useless. Haven't found a practical use for it yet. Side is the shortest IIRC. Side and Neutral both cause SB. None of these are cinematic so kinda sucks there.

Combo Speed: She can hold her own in combo fights. Up against a Susano'o Sasuke, we were clashing punches. Her combos lack RANGE, which is the reason why she may lose out to others.

Air Combo: Probably the strongest one in the game. It does more damage than her grab, iirc. You can hitstun state cancel the end. Which is amazing considering her air combo is hella strong...

Tilt:

Pretty badass tilt right here. Tsunade charges forward on the first hit, then kicks them into oblivion on the second, causing SB. However, i don't believe she recovers from the ending lag in time to make use of the SB for extra damage. You can cancel the tilt into her jutsu. Looks pretty badass when you tilt>Jump cancel>U1. Just saiyan.

Grab:

Decent range, causes SB. You can cancel her tilt with it. Tsunade flicks the OP accross the map with one finger.

Items:

She has some pretty damn good items. 3 Power Mochi, 2 Bomb balls, 1 ATT down tag, and her personal item beefs up her attack a crap ton. Let me just say, when you use power mochi and the att up item, combined with Tsunade's strength, you feel like the friggin hulk. You feel like you'll break their guard like butter and then proceed to rape their face. Half the ops guard was broken, then a few hits more, and I smashed it lol

Ultimate:

Sadly, Tsunade has no NMC Ult options. T_T Tsunade punches the ground and causes a small earthquake. Can be hit off SB, but requires some timing. You can storm combo this. Looks extra BA when you do.

DON'T and i mean DON'T use Hidan/Oonoki/Tenten/etc with Tsunade. It's dumb. Unless you have some crazy combo thats so original and intricate to go with them. If you plan to just do Hidan/Oonoki>Grab then play as someone else. Seriously. There's literally no point in playing her that way, or really ANY character. If your gonna do that, play with Kisame or something. He'll be great for that. Actually i'm gonna make a thread about this when I'm done.

Support Choices: Use supports that knock the enemy in the air the same way as Tsunade does. You can land some pretty nasty combos. I recommend Kabuto and Sakura. This is a legit team, Medical Specialists. You can rock Anko and Mei too. If you REALLY feel the need to do Anko>Grab Thats Mature Women IIRC.

Awakening: Wouldn't use this too often, but its a good generic awakening. But if you have full subs, go for it. Mainly due to the fact that its hard to handle supports at times. In singles, this awakening just wrecks the hell out of the OPs guard, especially with her jutsu. If you use a power mochi and her personal item right before... oh god.. You can do crap tons of damage with it. Her punches have a nice impact effect to them too lol.

If you use these tips against me, well really Tsunade in general, I'll probably RQ. I hate playing against my best character. Nobody uses her, so I feel like she has become "my" character. I know that isn't true, but y'know. There aren't many Tsunades around and it takes practice to be good with her. She ain't top tier but she can hold her own in the right hands. I have like 3-4 gameplays of me wrecking PTS Lee's with her lol.

Nobody uses her, so I feel like she has become "my" character.

That's EXACTLY how I feel about my TS Sakura. TS Sakura is even rarer than Tsunade. I've seen more replays with Tsunade than with TS Sakura. Good job on getting Tsunade as your second used on ranked. I haven't played much, so my Sakura is still 3rd.

All I know is that whenever people see my SCARYYY Sakura ninja info card, they always run away. Or maybe it's because of... dat Chiyo. <_< >_>

I stayed close to what I said. I knew id main Kisame, but I said the 1st and hes off my list right now. But raikage is my 3rd but id probaly have to play only 5 matches to get 1st back up there
