Well, thats a good question. I'm curious as to the wiping feats. Have they ever fully worked on someone of Gandalf's mental level? From what I saw it was mostly lower-ability wizards and muggles.

A killing strike is only effective if it hits. Proof me the shield can't block it.

Same words can be turned back on you. Prove Gandalf can adapt to a teleported. Also not debating the shield that's a valid point. But another valid point is Dumbledore has way more known abilities.

Although true, not all of them will be effective enough to stop the D. blast from happening, something Dumbledore knows nothing about and thus would be hard pressed to avoid it.

Also as for Gandalf fighting a teleported, blinding light would probably be a good cure to that. Even if dumble does teleport, it wont help him from being blinded.

It doesn't matter. That spell is way too slow to hit Gandalf, not to mention it's been blocked with low tier defensive spells like Protego, whereas Gandalf can put up a barrier that could protect an entire battery against 1000s of arrows. That spell isn't getting through.

If Gandalf can have a sword fight with a Balrog in his absolute weakest form, than there is no way in hell that Dumbledore is going to do anything to catch this wizard off guard.

You also make apparition out to be instant. It's not, there is a two-step process and a turn involved, and that's more than enough time for Gandalf to speak and paralyze Dumbledore. Do you remember when Gimli, Aragorn and Legolas are walking through a forbidden ent forest, and they come across the white wizard they think is Sarumon? They try fighting him, but none of them have time to pull out their sword, knock an arrow, or anything before Gandalf has them all disarmed and still.

Aragorn is a numenorean. He has reaction feats above any human or HP wizard. Again, Dumbledore is not surprising him.

That is the type of feats I am referring to. I was asking how he would react to an individual with a multitude of abilities. I still don't think it will be an easy battle. But if he can out react warriors with above human reflexes.then he should be alright. I still maintain the thought that Dumbledore has the more flexible abilities meant for this type of fight. Gandalf seems more suited for a fight involving numbers.

Well although true, a solo battle without knowledge is also in his favor due to the wide bredth of his attacks as far as range and radius go. If they don't know to expect D. blast or blinding light, then it's a short win.

I don`t know who is better wizard. I don`t know which one has greater variety of spells. I don`t know who`s choices are more moral.

But it doesn`t matter, all there is to this fight is teleporting instantly and casting a killing spell. Killing spell cannot be countered, cannot be tanked, cannot be deflected. Only it can be evaded. So, who is faster I don`t know.

The faster one most likely wins!!!

Read the thread. Unless you want to claim that a Harry Potter wizard is technically able to kill anything that isn't a true omnipotent, the killing spell isn't going to work. I will once again repeat that you can't just throw out feats, the entire basis of vs debating, simply because the spell causes death. It can only be said to affect beings with as much power as it's been shown to affect, which is far below a Gandalf without restrictions. This is no different than saying a shield can only protect from attacks up to the power it's been shown to.

Except voldermort deflected it with a simple sheild and there's the fact that harry is known as the boy lived because his mother cast a protective spell over him

So obviously it can be blocked by sheilds and barriertype and strong defensiv magic

Actuallthe claim is if its alive breathes, have a heartbeat, functional organs, and can die by mortal means it can't tank the shot. If thats not the case prove he can tank It. I find it hard to beleive since he goes out of his way to deflect weapons.

They are however vulnerable to mindrape and soulfukking but only if their opponet has shown themselves capable of matching or nearly matching their power

In his strongest state yes. As gandalf the grey he takes he can suffer from fatigue from physical exertion to the point of physical death of his low level Istari vessel I.E the balrog fight

I`m not in favor of Dumbledore, the only reason I`m defending him is because I believe he is underestimated due to in-Universe feats interpretation!!!

That said, he did defeat Grindelwald and for the most of his life wielded the magic wand which grants invincibility to its user!!!

As I said, I`m not in favor of Dumbledore. The winner here is the one with better speed, nothing more!!!

Yeah no it doesn't. Grant invincibility seeing as all of its owners have been killed or otherwise defeated while using it

Yeah so grindelwald is not an individual who contributed to creating an entire world so that's no where near enough

Well geuss what that would be incorrect since as gandalf the white far outclasses numenorians in reactions and numenorians have superhuman reactions.

So far the potterverse as a whole has human to peak human reactions
