I mean when he was like 10 years old he had his own place? How could he even afford that without a job or anything?

wel obviostly he is 4th hokages son and as we know after naruto father died the new hokage knew nartuo father and he gave him a free apartment.

I think he inherited the Fourth Hokage's fortune cause he obviously wasn't poor. I assume you get paid well as Hokage. So thats how Naruto was able to afford the apartment. Or the Third gave it him for free and helped out with food and stuff.

When Naruto first started training with Jiraiya they showed us his little toad wallet, remember? That thing wasn't small, so I'm guessing that it came from the 3rd Hokage paying for it anonymously until Naruto was experienced enough to start making good money with his missions.

Well think of it this way, mostly everyone in the village hated him so I think that he got kicked out of the orphanage when he was little and Sarutobi gave him an apartment.
