Tobi Theorist: Here is a long complicated theory about how Tobi represents hate and has a regular sharingan! He must be *insert Senju or Uchiha person here*!

I still stand with him being part, if not all Zetsu.

Why?

in this thread, I will explain the difference between Tobi and Tobi, and how they are related.

Tobi is your happy-go-lucky "Deidara-senpai!" little frolicker. He brought comic relief to an otherwise serious organization, but everyone wondered, "Why is he there?" All we saw was a guy who could plant mines. Then we saw C4, and no more Tobi.

Instead, we see Tobi. He is your serious, "Hate rules all" kind of character. Yeah, the bland, stereotypical rule-the-world villain that Danzo would pimp slap with awesomeness in half a second. However, after (stupidly) sending Sasuke and the Little Rascals to fight Bee, he was never seen again. One would come to the conclusion that they are different people, which would be perfectly plausible.

...until the Konoha 11 vs. Tobi fight, where Tobi messed around and acted like a demented kid with phasing and warping powers. They played until the Gollum-flower known as Zetsu appeared and told them Itachi lost.

Naruto 395, "Zetsu: Uchiha Itachi is dead, dead, dead.
Tobi: Whoooooa! I didn't see that coming. Not. Just as I predicted"

Shown right there, Tobi and Tobi are the same people. Why does this matter? Unless Tobi is Gollum or extremely bipolar, I find no way of believing that any one sane person can switch personalities.

I will stick with Tobi just being Tobi Uchiha. Clearly all the Uchiha are cracked. Tobi is just cracked in a special way. :3

wait...are you sayin just as zetsu is split into two b. and w. that tobi is similar? the goofy one said he didn't see that coming ( itachi losing) and the serious one sayin he predicted it?

Hm, it's a nice thing to say.
Maybe he is split in two, but only in his mind, not body, like schizophrenia or something, I like that part.

I disagree, people can have split personalities like that!

Sakura did for a while...
And Gaara seemed to do it for a while there

naw its a ploy to munipulate people i do it all the time when people underestimate(or feel they are superior, stronger, or smarter than u) they let thier guard down and are subjectible to suggestings and munipulations

so kishi has been hyping us all up just to find out that tobi is a zetsu really? that pretty bad on kishi's part all this hype about tobi and who he is and it turns out to be a zetsu. No offence but i doubt tobi is a zetsu

That's a good point you got there box. Though, just because he has a split personality doesn't mean he's Zetsu.

Its something to think about,

But still its not unusual for ninja to disguise their voice,or portray a different personality.

e.g. Think of Yamato acting like Sasori, he did a good job about it.

We could assume that Tobi's body is partially Zetsu (for healing his body/using the 1st DNA)...

But doubt that he is actually Zetsu.

If Tobi talked with two voices simultaneously then ok.

Yamato can be Sasori because he has a jutsu to alter his voice, and Sasori's personality is very serious, making it easy to impersonate.

Tobi is a whole different personality from Tobi making it near impossible for one person to do that.
