I like this story. It's intriguing at least unlike the Hody one...

Hody seemed to just be that return story, giving a small example to how much stronger they've gotten considering that Hody, who was supposed to be way stronger than Arlong, was easily beaten by TS Luffy, who used to have some trouble with Arlong. Just shows that skip, which despite the "lack" of real Oda story telling, was still cool. But you know... Whatever.

This chapter was really good, actually. The kids getting addicted to the drug was unique, at least to the story. It was an interesting little bit that I haven't seen used in much else, strictly speaking about the manga I've read and anime I've watched.

As strong as Zoro, Brook, and Sanji are, they were easily beaten by the "Eighty Cool Brothers." That's just a cool name in itself, but I want to know what these are. They're tall and long-limbed, different from normal giants. Going with how the kids were so big, they could probably just be a pair of twins that were experimented on a long time ago.

Monet had another appearance, if only in words, but I guess that could be taken as more proof to her eventually becoming more important. Not important, but just a slice.

If Ceasar Clown ends up being the big boss of this arc, then a fight with Luffy could be unavoidable. It could unavoidable either way. If/When it does happen, it looks like it could be a fight similar to the one he had with Magellan, but rather than dealing with liquids, it'd obviously all be gas.

It was a re-introduction arc. Good writing too.

That's not true. ._.

The good writing that still made it on par with or better than the other HST at the time. Even at the worst of times One Piece has good writing. It's just not as good as One Piece at the best of times.

Mengele put alot of focus on Twin Experiments.

People still bashing the Fishman Island Arc? It was a more philosophical arc that deals with prejudices. It was nice to see Oda take time to try to influence some values in readers.

On topic, the Eighty Cool Bros. have wooden sticks as their weapons? Seems like they used a sleep-inducing chemical from Caesar Clown judging by the calmness of Zoro, Sanji and Brook.

Agreed. It also gave more information on Fishmen as a whole -which, until now, had be vauge. Even with what we got in the original Soabaody Arc. I enjoyed the Fishman Island arc as a whole.


OT: If they easily beat Zoro, Sanji and Brook...be interesting to see how. Could be due to the weather? sense of surprise? Abilities? Well, we'll find out soon enough.

Was a little surprised by the title chapter. I thought it might mean the Big Candy lady might come in and mess things up, but the addiction thing was a nice twist.

Wondering what abilities these brothers had. Must be good if they could beat zoro.
