I was disscussing somethin on Narutooverse and maybe its posible that Orochimaru learned about sage jutsu from Jiraiya when they fought?

Sure or he just learned about from all the sneaking around he did amoung the sealed scrolls and children of Konoha.

Considering the Jiraiya was teammates with Orochimaru since they were kids, I would imagine that all three Sannin knew just about everything there was to know about each other...including who was a Sage.

I am assuming that Jiraiya havent yet mastered senjutsu when He and O-Man fought..

Jiraiya first met the Toad Sage when he used Kuchiyose without contract. He was still young and Hiruzen was present when he did it (Jiraiya was tied to a tree or something).
Then he started learning senjutsu.

J-man, O-Man and Tsunade fought Hanzo and that was 2nd Shinobi War and yet Jiraiya didnt even use Senjutsu.. If he could then Hanzo would have been defeated..

I don't think so...If they were equal then why didn't Jiraiya defeat Pein?
Naruto is a perfect sage, Jiraiya wasn't.

1. When Naruto faced Pain.. the Deva path was still in cooldown time..

2. Naruto has been defeated already and the Kyubi has been captured if it werent for Minato..

3. I guess.. Naruto defeated Pain because of PNJ..

He never mastered it.

Neither Orochimaru nor Jiraiya mastered Senjutsu.

Jiraiya first visited Mount Myoboku when he was young, he fought Orochimaru much later in life, after he was in the war and met Nagato.

Orochimaru most likely knew about Jiraiya's Toad Sage Training, and most likely wanted to seek out Snake Sage Training.

You just contradicted yourself. How can it be imperfect if he mastered it?

It it wasn't for Kyuubi naruto wouldve been sealed much easier but Kyuubi took control and went into 6 tails then more and made Nagato lose even more chakra.

- Then Why he couldnt bring O-man back if he had Sage Mode.

- The only reason why O-man learned the place of Ryuchi cave is because of Juugo..

Im not contradicting myself.. Your just not getting it in a proper way..

Naruto and Jiraiya both mastered Sage mode.. they both LEARNED it and have access to it.. What Sage Mode can do to Naruto is the same with what Sage Mode can do to Jiraiya..

the only difference is Jiraiya's sage mode gave him a more toad-like appearance but that's not important if what we are looking at is ENHANCEMENT..

by saying Jiraiya didnt master Sage mode is equal to Jiraiya NOT learning Sage mode.. words sometimes are confusing..

the right term is Perfected vs Imperfect but is not equal to Master vs Didnt Master..

Agreed.. The thing is The 6 tails were got owned by Chibaku Tensei.. Naruto already gave up and is already doomed until Minato appeared and boost his morale...

^Sorry for the double posting, but I can't edit my post for some reason. Anyway, also, he didn't use Sage Mode on Oro because he probably didn't want his Toads involved. Also, Oro probably knew about his Sage Mode, but wasn't interested in his Sage Mode because it was toad related, not snake related...

So he wouldn't even be able to use the Imperfect Sage Mode if he wanted to because he had no contracts with the toads.

Jiraya learned but DIDN'T master sage mode!!
If he had truly mastered the Sage mode, he would not have had a toad-like appearance!

On other hand, Naruto learned AND mastered sage mode. Therefore Naruto can draw more nature chakra than Jiraya could. Also his appearance is less toad-like than Jiraya.

You guys may not understand what Rikoudo Sage is saying...Jeez this is the RS himself!

The fact that Jiraiya showed some Toad features doesn't Mean he hadn't Mastered it. If he hadn't mastered it he'd still be going to Pa Toad for training right...jiraiya isn't the kind to quit half-way through his training.
BUT if he didn't have that much chakra reserve like Naruto to completely hide any toad features, there's nothing he could do to improve that. That doesn't mean he hadn't mastered it.
That'd be like saying Itachi has mastered the sharingan and Kakashi hadn't because his body is unable to keep up...well, we all know that's false. Kakashi has mastered the sharingan and can do nothin about his body's ability to keep up.

Naruto is simply better at collecting Nature energy than Jiraiya. Jiraiya does need those two for help tho' so it comes down to Naruto is a perfect sage, jiraiya is Not..
