Like most Suigetsu threads this just ends in a stalemate. Suigetsu is just that pest of the series, not that powerful in comparison to the more skilled characters but just hard as hell to kill. Unless Kishi decided to explain the hydrification technique in greater detail all Suigetsu threads against more skilled opponents will end this way...Suigetsu can't be cut, but at the same time he can't cut anyone. It's just like Minato vs. A threads Minato can touch A but not hurt him seriously, A can hurt Minato seriously but can barely touch him. In the end it just goes in one big circle. Zabuza wields his sword way better than Suigetsu does and with much greater ease, he also has more techniques than Suigetsu but he can't kill him with physical attacks. My guess is that after Suigetsu runs out of a certain amount of chakra he can't hydrify correctly and he becomes vulnerable again, but of course I can't be certain. Basically...STALEMATE.

Zabuza could probably hide forever with Hidden Mist jutsu, but there is no way he can beat Suigetsu.

In that case Zabuza overpowers suigetsu and cuts his head off before Suigetsu can liquify.

If Suigetsu's liquefication has a limit Zabuza owns him...he uses hidden mist and then throws some kunai to make Suigetsu liquefy the first time, after than he lops Suigetsu's head off during the recovery period and asks Haku to hang it up on their room wall.

its eiter stalemate or zabuza wins because it only takes a second or two to cast hidden mist and once the battlefield is shrouded theres no way suigetsu will hit zabuza

Hidden mist would actually work for suigetsu's advantage because he can turn into water.

They start with a clash of swords, so I'm assuming that Zabuza will have to beat Suigetsu in a taijutsu fight first, and since Suigetsu can turn into water....

Zabuza water attacks will do no effect
Hidden Mist is the only way Zabuza can win but zabuza's attacks with the sword will not do anything
