The user must have a masterful comprehension of Haki in order to use this fighting style because they are forbidden from using weapons. The user imbues their legs with Busoshoku Haki throughout their training constantly, after so much brutal training with that condition they imbue their legs without thinking upon finishing the course. In other words, it's like breathing. The user is able to block sword swings with their own body at this point as well as move incredibly fast when on their feet.
