Sure ill try to remember ( btw as u prolly can tell sasori is my fav )
This first one is only effective against unexperienced players. Use ur Up combo then time it right and use ur ultimate. If your fighting an enemy who uses lots of jutsu send puppet off screen and use ninja moves to dodge. If their jutsu release is slower use ur ultimate to hit them. If its slightly faster you could use the ending lag of their jutsu to hit them. ( with a chance of being hit but its worth it ) If they are long range then right when they start a long range combo send it at them. unless its right in front. Then i wouldnt advise it unless you can actually send it then while they are still hitting you, and ur ultimate is going at them they cant dodge unless they substitute. so id advise taking down the substitution gauge down. These are more my noobish or novice moves but i cant think of the better ones. wish i could be more help

best thing i saw puppet ppl do is send their puppets of screen and attack. Just bullrushng the player can be stopped by just spamming shuriken at them.

Ultimate Jitsu's? One word Hidan. Have Hidan as an assist, if you snag someone with his attack do a quick Ultimate. If you manage to get them while they are in the air with Hidan's attack your chances increase to land to ultimate since they have to time the substitution just right, and often they try to sub out of Hidan's attack, only to get caught back into it when he gets them while in the air. Better yet is get them with Hidan while they are out of substitution bars and you have 100% chance of landing an ultimate. Basically Hidan opens people up to getting hit with an ultimate if you plan it, meaning watch your chakra before you let him go. Though many times you'll find you're just using Hidan as defensive tool.

Of course there's also timing your ultimate when you assist perform a kick back, though trying to time your Ultimate Team Jitsu takes priority if that's up.

Keep distance, because once someone gets close they can really punish you. Chakra rush the dummy immediately when you see someone jumping around attempting to toss shurikens, or not chakra dashing at you. Manipulate the puppet quickly to your enemy with chakra dashes even if your opponent starts to move in on you and gets past the puppet. And when you get them start chaining combos with combo cancel's. Even if they sub out the puppet can catch them quickly. I regurally pull off 40+ hit combos with Sasori.

Try to get them to waste their subs from afar, because you want to have the advantage when it comes to subs if they get close. When they get too close you can sub out and flick attack, and follow it up with a chakra dash combo. Or flick attack and a throw to give you more distance.

Also utilize throw if they decide to turtle and spam jitsu's. Move the puppet while blocking and just toss them. Actually when they get too close try to throw them, though sometimes, many times you're likely going to need to hit them with a flick attack to push them back some to set them up for a throw. Once they are away confuse them with the puppet move it around get them moving back, and chakra dash when there is an opening.

Lastly don't plant yourself in one spot. This is something I used to do, and still occasionally do, but I am breaking the habit. Always try to keep a gap in distance between you and your opponent. Even after landing like a 40 hit combo if they wind up falling close to you, back away, and utilize your assists.

As for assists, I find it's good to have one ranged to help push an opponent back and one close by in-case an opponent gets too close. Personally I use Deidara (Guard) and Hidan (Attack) though I've seen others use Kakuza (Guard) and Hidan, who seems to be a rule of thumb for Sasori users. Suffice to say you also want one of your assists to be a guard though.

In the end learn to manipulate the puppet and keep try to maintain a safe distance. Hope this helps for Sasori tactics.
