WHAT THE F? a thread asking if my country should be the 51st state???? I though most of you guys in the US don't wanted us to actually be it

Well, I do support the idea of becoming state 51, and yes, most of us prefer statehood over independence (which I think would make end up making the island a third world country in the long run) but most just want things to stay the way they are, the island being a Commonwealth

In seriousness, if they want it, I'm for them having it. Same with any other territory, province, and/or protectorate. We've done enough conquering and land purchases and such. So at this point, admittance should be based on THEIR want, not ours.

Uh, not that this is about that...

Totally for DC getting more representation, too.
