Yeah well we both picked the same tool set. So we were tossing bombs at each other back and forth for like 10 matches it was super fun.

At the same time though, tons of explosives are still just strictly worse than 3 sleep tags, go figure.

Question: Can you sleep a frenzied character?

I did some testing last night and came up with some shocking results.

It appears that the defense down tag increases damage taken by a substatial 30-35% and the defense rupture tag increases it by a whopping 65%!

These tags are serious business. I am taking photos of all these tests and I will post some real research soon.

Yes, after being hit by a defense rupture tag, Rasen Shuriken did 100% of the first life bar in damage. Compared to about 60% without the defense rupture.

yes. as stated earliar the defense rupturing tag decreases their defense by 60% which means ur attacks are 160% the normal. 100 is normal and 200 is double ( obviously ) so its pretty effective especially if you team it up with something to increase ur attack. Actually its possible to '' psuedo awaken '' . That means increase your stats as high as ur awakened form but retain ur normal forms attacks and jutsu and looks. Plus in the psuedo-awakening state you can still use your ultimate

Interesting question. Essentially a defense down tag and an attack pill give you the same benefit. Same with defense up pill vs attack down tag.

However the way you "administer" them does matter. It is much easier to use an attack pill over a defense down tag because you cannot miss, it will always work. Tags can miss, although tags do have the added benefits of "swatting" projectiles away as well as stunning/staggering the opponent.

Bottom line is, if you are ok using boost pills and think they have value, then you should also be okay with tags. And, as I stated a 60% increase is massive (on a defense rupture tag)

Can we discuss the value of the Kunai explosives?

I just ran some tests. Even the strongest version (level 3) of heavy kunai rain does pretty minor damage. About 15% by my estimate. Compared to the level 3 exploding tag, which looks to do about 30%.

The level 1 kunai rain does less than 10% damage.

So it is obviously not a "damage dealer" tool. Anyone have any uses for it? Ever a good time to toss them out? Any synergy you have thought of?

I personally use them as distraction for ultimate jutsu or ninjutsu aswell keep-away for chakra loading

i do the same as the dude above. I also use them then use chakra shuriken then jutsu
but i dont have them in my ninja tool set up

Ok I have been doing some serious research and progress has been good but one thing I discovered is how awful the scrolls are.

Scroll of Hidden Cloud and Scroll of Substitutions. What am I missing with these? They last 2 seconds and 4 seconds on the scroll X variety.

I can't really figure out why being immune to projectiles is even that good for the duration to be so short. Unlimited subs is strong, but in 2 seconds? What am I missing with these things? Can you use them like... instantly without an animation? Thats the ONLY way they have any value. If you could be getting comboed,and pop a scroll right there.

Did some serious research tonight. I have every item pretty well figured out. Here are some interesting tips:

You CAN be sleeped while under frenzy pill effects.
When under a frenzy effect you take 33% extra damage from everything.
Defense down tags applify all damage, including item damage. (Poison, explosive items do more damage to defense down characters)
Defense Rupture tag increases damage taken by a whopping 66%!
Power Mochi are effective with projectile weapons and jutsu.
The Super power mochi (the red one) double guard break damage.
The chakra steal tag and team coheshion tag have such a small effect they are mostly useless.
