Ok, I made up an OC a while ago-it's not necessarily my persona, but it might be in the future. Also, sorry if she's 'too powerful' to you. Like you don't make your characters powerful. Besides, it's my story, so why should it matter? I don't want to make a weakling simple as that. I'm sorry if you don't like that, but you don't have to read my story if you don't want to. I'm sorry for any inconveniences you may have-I really am.
Also, if you have complaints about the 'Yin side' of the Kyuubi, blah blah blah-there's a reason it's called a fanfiction. Because...it's....FICTION. Simple as that. If you have any complaints, either give me constructive criticism (greatly appreciated) or just don't comment at all. I'm sorry if I'm coming across as mean, but, think about it. Wouldn't you warn others about doing this, stuff, too? Again, I'm sorry for any inconveniences you may have while reading this fanfiction and I really do hope you enjoy it-since it was fun to write C: I might add another installment later. Profile: Name: Ren Akiyama Image: Age: 12 (at beginning of original Naruto) Sign: Leo About this sign: Leos are very outgoing-their element is usually fire, but it just so happens her element is wind. Go figure. Her ruling planet is the sun, but really she follows the moon more. Her animalistic symbol is the lion/tiger, but due to the Yin-Side of the Kyuubi, it is usually mistaken for a fox, which just so happens to be her favourite animal. Her life pursuit is to lead the way and get everyone to acknowledge her, much like Naruto. On the other hand, she does not want to be Hokage because she does not want to sift through papers. She just wants to be squad leader. She has a very radiant energy that affects everyone around her, either in a negative or positive way. For information, please, please, please visit this link it is very important: http://www.psychicguild.com/horoscop...c.php?sign=Leo Blood Type: O About this Blood Type: This means she is Agreeable, sociable, optimistic, artistic, but she can also be vain, rude, jealous, arrogant, and a rambler. She usually hides her vanity behind modesty, while inside she really thinks she is much better than a person. She is kind of rude and sarcastic, and she is very jealous when she sees Naruto look at other girls. She does nothing to hide her sassy arrogance, which kind of intimidates and scares people, especially Hinata, but since she's always around Naruto, who isn't in the least afraid of her, she's okay with driving the potential competition away. Background: Thirteen years ago, when Ren-sama was only two years old and in a very noble family, since she was the daughter of a friend of the Fourth Hokage, she showed great promise-all the signs pointed to her success. Until the day the Kyuubi attacked. The Fourth Hokage had failed on sealing all nine tails of the Kyuubi into the small body of Naruto-sama, and Ren's father had insisted on using his own daughter as a vessel, in hopes of power and nobility due to Ren's new weapon. This must have been what the signs had pointed to. Reluctantly, the Fourth Hokage sealed the Yin/feminine side of the Kyuubi inside of Ren. Soon after, she was captured by the Akatsuki, which had snuck in during the wreckage of the battle. Apparently one of them had tried to kidnap Naruto-sama, but obviously failed. This was their last chance while their guard was weakened. They had clearly underestimated Konoha, though, so Ren-sama's father, Akiyama-sama fought off the Akatsuki bravely with the help of her elder brother, Ichiro-sama, and her mother. They succeeded at rescuing the child, but as the last resort, Sasori had given her a curse never to gain any skills as long as she remained in Konoha. Refusing to believe this as the truth, her father took her home and she began training in the Academy at only three years old. She was a natural talent! On the other hand, she seemed to progressively get worse and worse. Still refusing to see the truth, her father put her through even harsher training. Still, she kept getting worse and worse and slowly, ever so slowly, her grades began to drop. The day before she was to be flunked out, never to be Shinobi again, her mother, father, and supposedly her brother were assasinated and her tortured. As she fell unconcious, a mysterious Shinobi came to rescue her. She woke up in a room in Kirigakure, a Shinobi glaring at her. On another note, there was one person who liked and appreciated Ren-sama. If you haven't already guessed, this person was Naruto-sama. They both seemed to understand the other the most and both were the worst Shinobi in the class. When Ren-sama disappeared, Naruto vowed never to forget Ren-sama and began to cry at the prospect of never seeing his only friend ever again. They both feel into a sadness so deep, it seemed like they would never come out again. This Shinobi had dark eyes that looked murderous and uncaring. Although it looked as if this person was about four-just like her. 'You have the same eyes as me,' he remarked. 'Hm?' she asked, but she coughed out blood when she tried to speak. She began to tremble, and realised she was covered in bandages. 'My name is Maru,' he replied. 'Named by my village for the darkness in my heart. I've killed before, and I'm only the same age as you.' Ren-sama was very surprised at this. 'I think I could kill...too,' she coughed out. 'Now that I know this pain.' 'It's not a good thing, I promise you. They use me...as if I'm...some sort of monster.' His voice was full of pain. The word 'monster' resonated in Ren-sama's ears. 'I understand how you feel. My...whole family...my whole village..treated me like a monster. No one would talk to me, but one person. I will never see that person again, though,' she replied, tears welling up. 'No, no. It's okay. I'll acknowledge you. Even though I'm so dark to everyone else, you understand me. You acknowledge me.' Ren-sama looked up and hugged Maru-chan. 'Thank you,' she whispered. 'I hear they're going to put you through many tests to test your ability,' Maru explained. 'They'll be disappointed. I can't throw a shuriken to save my life...I heard my father say it was a curse that will haunt me forever...MY FATHER! I have to help him!' she burst out in a bout of insanity. 'No, nee-chan. I heard your parents were dead.' The truth dawned on Ren-sama. She took a deep breath a choked out, 'My name is Akiyama Ren...and I will avenge my parents' death,' she replied. 'Revenge isn't a good idea,' Maru replied. 'It won't accomplish anything-especially if you devote your whole life to it.' 'You're right,' Ren-sama sighed. 'Hey, varmints!' someone shouted from down the hallway. 'Ah, I see...it's that Kyuubi Kunoichi. I wonder what abilities she has. Hey boy-I see you've bonded. You get to see her put through the harshest test you can imagine, you hear? Better not get to close to her. Besides, she's a demon-mess with her and she'll kill you whether she wants to or not.' 'That's not true!' Ren shouted. 'I would never...what's a Kyuubi?' The man snickered while taking a swig of sake. 'Wouldn't you like to know? Anyways, you will have three weeks. You better train the best you can until then. Anyways, I'll let you two go now. Don't go too far-you guys are my money-makers. If you run away I'll hunt you down. Just train. That's it. Nothing more. You get dinner when you get back.' As they left, Ren whispered something to Maru. 'Is he always like this?' she wondered. 'No-he's in a good mood today,' Maru replied. 'I've heard that joke before,' Ren commented. 'It isn't a joke. Now let's go train. Follow me.' They leapt across the roofs of houses to the training grounds. Ren didn't even know she could do that...she was amazing herself all over the place today. 'Here are some training dummies. Begin with hitting the targets,' Maru instructs. 'I do this all the time.' 'Ok,' Ren replies, taking out a Kunai knife and wielding it. [FONT=Comic Sans MS][COLOR=Cyan] Instinctively, Ren shot the kunai forward and struck the target almost in the center. |

Instinctively, Ren shot the kunai forward and struck the target almost in the center.
‘You really aren’t that bad,’ Maru noted. ‘Keep trying.’ ‘I was much worse in Konoha,’ Ren muttered. Ren pulled out the kunai knives and tried again, this time hitting the targets all dead center. ‘Sugoi!’ Maru exclaimed. ‘Amazing!’ ‘Thanks, but I’m still pretty bad at this,’ Ren replied. ‘Are you kidding? I bet you’d be pretty good in a fight.’ Maru smiled, and Ren smiled back. Ren kept training and was actually pretty good. She tried with shuriken and was pretty good. ‘I want to see your Taijutsu,’ Maru said. ‘Ok, but I’m not very strong,’ Ren replied. ‘That’s OK. You’re only four and you are pretty small for your age,’ he comforted. Ren demonstrated her form of punching and kicking. ‘Now try it on me. It’s OK-I can handle pain pretty well,’ Maru instructed. ‘Are you sure?’ Ren asked. Maru gave a brisk nod and Ren immediately ran forward and punched him, followed by a hook kick and an elbow to the cheek. ‘Do it harder!’ Maru insisted. ‘I didn’t feel a thing!’ She nodded and repeated this over and over. They trained for quite some time together. ‘How many jutsus do you know?’ Maru wondered, wiping off some blood. Ren wiped off her own blood and responded, ‘Not really any. I know clone jutsu, transform jutsu, and escape jutsu. That’s pretty much it. I don’t even have an element.’ ‘My element is lightning,’ Maru said. ‘I have some slips that stole from jii-chan once. We can tell your element affinity from it. Just shoot some chakra through it.’ Ren nodded curtly and gently took the paper, looking him straight in the eye. She held it between her fingers and shot a straight line of chakra through it. Suddenly, it was slit in half. ‘You have a wind chakra…interesting,’ Maru muttered. ‘I would have thought you had fire, but whatever.’ Maru smiled and Ren smiled back. ‘I don’t know much about wind chakra-just that it’s sharp and strong. Very quick, accurate, agile…and actually fits clever people-although it isn’t the most thoughtful element. The kind of element that just charges forward.’ Ren nodded. ‘Wakarimasu,’ she replied. She began to focus her wind chakra through kunai knives. Everyday her and Maru would go back to the same place everyday and train together. Ren became very skilled by the next year. Soon after training with Maru, she was enrolled in the Academy as well. They were very brutal and strict, training them without mercy. By the time she was five, she was very strong and merciless as well. The only thing giving her kindness was Maru-chan, who helped her go through it all. Through all the pain of her being shunned wherever she went. They were inseperable, but, there was one problem. They were to participate in the test of Bloody Mist in one month’s time. Ren could not bear the thought of this. ‘Don’t worry about that,’ Maru comforted. ‘That’s then…and this is now. Besides, we probably won’t have to face each other.’ ‘You don’t really believe that!’ she snapped. ‘They know how close we are! The Bloody Mist wants to cut all ties from the world-making us solely killing machines.’ ‘Exactly-if you let the Bloody Mist worry you and cut your tie, you’ve already given in to them,’ Maru replied. ‘What choice do I have? The Bloody Mist have cornered me, controlled every aspect of my life. What I wanted more than anything was just to live a normal life in Konoha!’ she shouted. ‘You mean…not meet me?’ Maru muttered. ‘Not that.’ Ren sighed. ‘I’m sorry, I just…’ ‘No, it’s okay, Ren-chan,’ he muttered. ‘I understand.’ Ren hugged Maru and Maru’s cheeks turned red. Ren’s cheeks turned red in return. ‘We should start training again...,’ Maru trailied off. Ren nodded and they began. Things went on like this until finally the Genin Test was upon them. ‘Welcome to the Test of Bloody Mist,’ one of the proctors announced. ‘Here, you will have to defeat your assigned opponent in a fight to death. This proves your complete and utter loyalty to this Mist, as well as proves you are willing to cut any and all ties on the Path of the Shinobi. You will show what you have learned all your time at the Academy. We have matched you up strategically and as equally as possible-the first pair is…’ The proctor announced the first pairs until, finally, the ninth one, Akiyama Ren and Yamiuta Maru. Ren had been expecting this, and sucked in her breath, accepting that she had to show her loyalty to the Mist more than anyone. She swallowed and cleared her head, trying to calm herself down. Only one of them was coming out alive… One proctor followed them to the arena area. ‘San…ni…ichi…,’ he began. ‘Ike!’ Ren whipped out her kunai in one hand and shuriken in the other, trying to block out who she was fighting. However, whenever they fought, they seemed to purposefully avoid landing hits on each other, and whenever they did, they did not go full force in the least. Until, Maru slammed Ren against the wall. He brandished a kunai and stuck it into her stomach with a force of loathing hatred. She sensed this hatred. She coughed out a handful of blood and asked, ‘W…why?’ ‘I got you. I got you good,’ he said, glowering. ‘I wasn’t certain until the moment you hugged me. I comepletely overestimated you, Ren-chan. I thought you were acting, but, obviously you still had some trust in you. I didn’t by the time you came. I was always faster than you-the one with one step ahead. I hated you from the beginning. Sure, I began to like you…until I remembered who you were…what you were. The Kyuubi, who killed all my family aside from me. The one who was alliance with the Fourth Hokage, who had a grudge against my family from the beginning. The ones who had betrayed me. This is my payback on the Akiyamas-and the Kyuubi!’ Ren sank into the shadows and came out from another side. ‘ Suddenly, red chakra started overflowing from her body. ‘Kage Bunshinn no Jutsu!’ she announced, sinking all of clones into the shadows around the arena. ‘There’s no escape now,’ she said, holding up a kunai. ‘Oh yeah?’ he challenged. Maru made a few mysterious hand symbols, and announced, ‘Yami no Jutsu!’ He strangled her and all her shadows with the darkness around him…inside of him. Ren deflected the attack with the red chakra, racing forward, kunai knife wielded, then she punched him straight on the face, faster than he could react. Blood dripped from her mouth as she clutched her wound. Maru began the Darkness Jutsu again and strangled her, but a stray Kage Bunshinn punched him, releasing the Jutsu. ‘Thanks for the memories,’ Ren said darkly, sticking the kunai straight into his heart. ‘He’s dead, proctor,’ Ren said grimly, then stormed off. Those days seemed dark. All days seemed grim and lonely. The proctor never spoke to her after that-in fact, it seemed like no one did. Everyone whispered about her, looked at her with dark evil, shunning eyes. It was like an inescapable hell to her. Until one day, she met HIM. She was only seven at the time, but she had been through more than most Chuunin. ‘Hey, what’s a little girl doing here in the forest?’ he asked as he leapt toward her in a pine tree. ‘I’m not a little girl,’ she replied grimly. ‘You sure look like one,’ he replied. ‘But I can see you’ve been through a lot.’ ‘More than I wish I’d been through,’ she muttered, turning her back on him. ‘Come on, I’ll get you some ramen. You can tell me everything. I can tell you haven’t had anyone to talk to in a while,’ he replied. ‘First, you have to tell me your name , though.’ ‘My name is Akiyama Ren,’ she said, brightening a little at the prospect of ramen. ‘Ah…so ka. I am Hatake Kakashi. I know someone a little bit like you..,’ he trailed off. ‘I digress. Ahaha. Let’s go get some ramen.’ They leapt through the trees to the nearest ramen stand. Ren had some miso ramen with pork cutlets, and Kakashi-sensei simply had some chicken ramen. Sorry, people, but Ren tried to avoid his gaze while she was eating, so she did not seem him without his mask. Ren explained all she been through. Kakashi-sensei just nodded and listening as she stared down and spoke through mouthfuls of ramen. She apparently had a lot on her mind, since she wouldn’t stop talking. ‘That’s…actually kind of depressing,’ Kakashi noted. ‘Well, I would move on, but I haven’t had anyone to talk to since you came along. I wasn’t even put into a Genin Team, no one talked to me after the test…in fact, what happened was a bit blurry. I just remember some red chakra and a deep feeling of betrayal,’ she explained. ‘Well, I’ll take you back to Konoha. I believe that they’ll accept you there,’ Kakashi explained. ‘Really? Is that so?’ Ren exclaimed. ‘Of course, you’ll need some more training. Probably in the ways of Konoha. I also see potential in you…for a certain Kekkei Genkai..,’ Kakashi trailed off. ‘Come on! Tell me!’ Strange, Kakashi thought. She’s acting much different than when I first met her… The rest of this backstory has been burned by someone…presumably Kakashi-sensei, so that he would not let the rest of the secrets of Konoha be revealed. Also, there are some moments where his mask is taken off (look, he has to eat, OK?) and there are some spoilers for the Kakashi chronicles. Also, the author was too lazy to write anymore. She’ll try to recover the rest of the pages from Kakashi-sensei, but in the meantime, just enjoy what she has written, OK? Ren is the author, and she decided to write in third-person because of her Shadow Clones, which happen to be everywhere, spying on everything, so all-knowing third person seemed the best format for this story to show all Ren has learned from all of her ‘spies.’ I hope you enjoyed her backstory so far, though.
