What if Sasuke was under a Genjutsu that decieved him during the Uchiha's Massacre?

What it says, what if somehow, Sasuke got under the effect of a Genjutsu that made him saw Itachi kill his clan? Of course, this would also mean that Itachi didn't killed his clan, but for whatever reason he decided to let himself look like the killer to Sasuke

not a bad theory..
Itachi is always going on about illusions and contradiction and the way people live their lives. In one of the recent chapters he mentioned that people live by their own means bla bla and what he knows is not reality... trippy stuff, but i guess that would have to change most of the story cause EVERYONE knows there was a massacare..

:O unless everyone was under the eye of the moon plan ! lol but anyways ! thumbs up for that theory

That's why I thought of it, due to Itachi's constant babbling about illusions and contradiction, not to mention that Itachi had powerful Genjustus, and I suspect Tobi does too
