I walk along the shore of grove 13. "It's my lunch break, I'll go where I want to go!" I keep telling myself, but everytime I do, think, "If I get caught out here, I'm fired."

These stupid marines are so strict. Everything they do is for "Justice" or what they think that is. Why am I a marine, then? Tradition. My great grandfather was Admiral Kuzan. My grandfather was a vice admiral. Father, Vice admiral, and I am just a captain. Yes, I know, I shouldn't complain about being a captain, it's higher that most people will ever get...but...I just feel like I'm better. I know for damn sure that I'm better than Derran, the commodore leader.


You see, if Derran dies, or gets promoted, I'm next in line for his spot. That's the main reason I'm out here, planning the assassination. I have others who feel the same way I do, about Derran just being useless, so we formed a group. It will take place next week. We have a meeting for everyone ranking commander and up. There will be thousands there, so no one will pay a lot of attention if one man doesn't show. We will use one simple dagger. One good placed throw right to the jugular could finish anyo-.

I hear a shuffle from behind a bush. All of my thought end, and become one. "Crap, they found me. I have to kill them. This is the unlawful area anyway, they won't even expect that it was me."

My hands both grasp their respective scimitars. Unsheathing them slowly from their belt loops, I try to hide behind a tree. The green tassels shake from the end of the hilt. I await to see who my opponent is.

For some weird reason I find myself hiding in a bush behind this marine that was on his lunch break, I sigh to myself and step out of the bush, as he hides behind a tree in front of me, "My name is, Lone Kenshin. Just a rouge pirate that's all." I place my right hand on the hilt of one of my three swords, "Now maybe, I can slice you up a little." I swing the sword upwards with amazing speed creating a wind blade that aims to slice the tree and you in half, "I wonder what kind of fruit you have." I laugh and get into a fighting stance, "Show me what you can do."

He withdraws a sword and slashes at me, sending a slash of energy my way. I dive to the right of the tree and catch myself right before I fall into the ocean. I stare down my enemy, and come to the conclusion that I am better than him. I run toward him and begin to slash my swords around. The tassles are swinging violently at the end of the hilts. I finally backflip and stare down my enemy. "My name is Victor Ascrut III. You might have heard of me. Probably not, but maybe." I state to my opponent optimistically.

"You have the power of my grandpa....and you think that you can beat me? I know EVERY trick to beat that devil fruit. You don't stand a chance." He then made two wings out of light.

"Well, you said that you wanted to see my power? Well here it is." I say as a blue energy gathers around my arms. Suddenly I erupt in power as I transform into the mythical phoenix zoan. "Now, let's start this battle." I say as I flap my wings, sending 10 metal-like feathers toward you. I then fly toward you and start slashing both swords at you, while also scratching at you with my talons.

I jump back and land on the ground, "I'm a master of the swords. Two skills far beyond anything you have to show me." I place the sword in my right hand away and start to form light around it, as I bring it forward releasing ten beams of light towards you, "Light Beam." 10 beams of light come shooting at me, and I stand and get hit by all of them. I fall over and pretend to die. I then stand back up, "Really? Really? Do you not know that I have regeneration powers?" I run over to the man again and start aiming to stab him.
