Like the first hokage... Minato has teririble combos... Aesthetically. I mean, where the rasengans at? his down combo should be him knocking the opponent up, then teleporting above them and rasenganing them down... O ar at least just knocking gthem down. Kinda like his current up combo, but teleporting above them instead

Lool, exactly what I'm saying. And have you seen Minato's up combo, it is terribly awful, you just get the "that's it" feeling whenever you use it. The only time it looks good is when you k.o someone with it because of the finishing pose Minato has at the end of it.

Hopefully the new combo involves a Rasengan that sends the opponent flying through the air like Raikage's side combo . I do actual like Minatos down combo because that food slide he does is such a great guard breaker and the heel drop actually looks epic in cinematic vision.

There's a way to get past that barrier, just throw a Kunai and then use you tilt straight after and it increases the range of the tilt. Remember that Minato's projectile attacks are all space time Kunai so he can teleport to any of them, you just need to use the tilt move to initiate the Flying Thunder God jutsu.

And if you know how to tilt cancel then you can throw 2 kunai or more in quick succession and teleport to it no matter the range. As long as one of the Kunai hits the opponent you will teleport to them from any distance.

lol...I did notice that the returning chars do have the same ougis but they look a bit more polished, just like how I noticed they improved itachis susanoo ougi for generation because in storm 2 his eyes did not change but they touched it u in gen and changed it. I want konan to have some new awakening actions...I think the ougi ship has already set sail.

You are very good though, don't get me wrong. It's just CC2 didn't really do Minato much justice in this game, there is nothing in his moveset that I really OP like most of the big name characters. He's just a very balance character, which is fine.

I just wish they'd change Hokage Minato's UJ (either to Food Cart Destroyer or RDS). And he needs more than one cinematic combo. At least he is getting one new combo, and we've seen how well cc2 have done all the new combos of new characters so I'm sure Minatos new combo is gonna be flashy and cinematic like all the other new ones.

@sora you look like a fun opponent I like how you tried to pull off those ground combos. I wish there is a way to chain air combos to ground combos in these games. I would love to be able to start a air combo then convert it into a cinematic ground combo.

i posted this before but it got ignored or wasn't seen, I just want you guys opinions.
So guys how about we play a little game and guess what NEW AWAKENING ACTIONS all the old ccharacter will get:

- Hinata: Air palm (since she knows how to use it now, plus she used it in the war)
- Pain: Universal pull (I hope so anyway)
- Guy: Morning peacock (I have a strong feeling about this)
- Mei: Water release, Water Wall
- Hiruzen: Shadow clone shuriken (I hope he gets this back, he had it in Storm 1)
- Sai: Super Beast Scroll (the 2 giant beings he used to take down Sasori and Deidara)
- Yamato: Water Release, Tearing Torrent (same jutsu he combined with Narutos wind.rasengan against kakuzu)
- Zabuza: Great Waterfall jutsu

So what do you guys think?

I like your ideas for gai hiruzen and sai I think those are perfect as awakening jutsu for them.

Actually, there is a way. Not all characters can do it though. You have to dash cancel RIGHT AFTER you land the last hit of an air combo. You end up on the ground, the opponent stunned in the air for a second. But if you are too high in the air, you wont be able to ground combo since the enemy stays floating up in the air for a second. Tsunade can do it, Minato, Kakashi, Earlt TS Naruto, kid Naruto.. list goes on. and Mei is VERY easy to do it with. It's called hit stun state cancelling the end of the air combo. At least that's what the discoverer calls it.

I was just about to edit my post lol ...its true your totally on point nice post. I think I did do it with raikage he has some nice short cinematic combos. I think since they also shortened most of the combos for storm 3 chances are a bit higher for that.

Speaking of riakage I cant wait to see him in his new cloak and I wonder what he and the other kages will have as awakening jutsu

@mikahel thanks for the tip truth is I dont use minato much...clearly thats your dude lol. I do enjoy fighting him though.

I hope they give hashirama something with the shadow clones I dont know why the devs gave that to his brother instead of him...and I hope hashirama has something super cinematic for his awakening jutsu same goes for orochimaru.

....like I said I give up on new ougis now after seeing hinata... the ougi train for storm 2 chars clearly has already departed.

Considering that I've played over 2000 matches online and have only faced Tenten once, well that shows no one cares about her to be honest. She's fodder anyway. To be fair, she is getting one of the sages legendary tools as an awakening action which is pretty impressive. And I've always loved tentens ultimate.

Minato feels to weak to be Hokage in storm 2 and gen. Plus you even said he is more important, he has his own boss battle as well SMS is the main characters father. So excuse me if I think minato needs more updating, I wanna fight the likes of Madara, Tobi, Nagato, EMS Sasuke etc online and feel like I have a chane.

No one plays her cus she is worse in game duh. The game suppose to be balanced not this character way stronger than this one. Her up combo doesn't even work

Not to mention most people don't even like to pick range characters cus they get spammed with mail of get kicked cus people call them spammers. I doubt one new awakening move will balance her out.

Tell me tho how many people pick PTs tenten. Oh that's right a ton

I think its because she was such a train wreck in storm 1 and generation...the devs gave the new train wreck title to ino and her blasted life sucking flowers. btw akatsuki sasukes up combo does not work either in generation.

I have a feeling tenten's new so6p fan is going to be seriously over powered. Honestly though tenten is not as weak as you make her out to be ...its just that ino and karin stole her glory title.

Ino - some random flower crap or Mind Destruction

Guy - Im not sure, I would have said Morning Peacock like you but I remember seeing that video with the character roster in it and it looks like Guy might have Morning Peacock as a selectable Ultimate.

Sai - Definitely the 2 giants.

Neji - Mountain Break attack or whatever it's called.

Pain - A very small Planetary Devastation.

Sakura - Some type of strong punch that knocks the opponent away (I cant think of nothing for her)

U mean in storm 2? Karin is actually pretty good. Her jutsu is very strong. Tenten is manageable with the right supports but in solo she loses in a land slide. Not to mention her range combo are slow and have huge pauses her jutsu can be jumped over and has a super long recover time. Her grab was nerfed. Her tilt lacks range and useful ness and mite as well just use her combose. Her combose arnt bad cus they have a pretty wide hit area but the damage is extremely poor. I think her awakening should give her all new ninja item set. Make her more unique by making her the only character to use items well awakened

Only spammers pick pts Tenten, not because they like her, because she's OP. Tenten is one of the last people that need updating. The big characters like the First Four Hokage's need updating as well as the Sannin.

U just voided your first argument that people don't pick her cus she isn't popular but cus of her abilities. And I played plenty of people who don't spam with tenten. Fighting game is about balance or else no character would stand a chance against naruto

Its too bad really because the pts chars have some nice combos and amazing cinematic grabs, jutsu and ougis ...but they are all too overpowered in some way shape or form.

Yes my friend used PTS Tenten but they way he used her was BS. He'd just spam and jump up in the air to use her jutsu and if you got close then he'd grab you to push you back
