I don't really mind, because there isn't many other characters they need to add. Even with EMS Sasuke, Madara, the Seven Swordsmen, Sage Kabuto, The Seven Swordsmen, etc, the roster barley adds up to 82. Plus it's not like they're literally taking character slots. If they were all on one slot then this game would have like, only '74' characters, give or take a few. It's not like them being on different slots contributes to the amount of characters in the game, it just counts to the total number.

Still a ton of characters they can add tho. Still a ton of characters that should be in but won't be. Less naruto would mean there would still be a little room but nope. Everything pretty much set in stone

Also I hate goku naruto and think the time should of been used to make something more naruto related

It is Naruto-related. Kishi said that one of his biggest inspirations is DBZ. It's a shout-out. Plus, would it really take that long to make a costume from another series? Minor tweaks to the design and just program it in and you're good to go!

So you're saying Naruto shouldn't have Biju Mode? That doesn't make any sense. He is the main character, the most relevant character in the series. I am by no means a Naruto (the character) fan, but even I can see that he needs an upgrade. Plus it's not like they're recreating a new Naruto every game, they take the ones from the old one, then make a new one. By asking them not to make an updated version of the main character they will have time to make one more, potentially not important character, which isn't worth the cost. I mean, as a Hidan fan I would love a full and new update Hidan, or even a new character like Kitsuchi, but I can see that making Biju Mode Naruto is FAR more important than making those two. This includes upgrading most of the Akatsuki, Konoha 11, etc.

Also Minato now has a rasengan in one of his combos, the thing he does against Tobi where he hits him in his back. I'm unsure if it's only in his awakening or not though. I saw it in the 40 minute demo gameplay uploaded to youtube.

Yeah, updating Naruto is important. I'm personally not arguing with that, but it's unnecessary to make multiple Narutos for that purpose. Sure, we could justify 2 Narutos with clearly different combos as an update, but when you start doing 3 or 4 it's just takin up space. Best to just assign multiple awakenings/UJ to a few characters to make them actually seem appealing to use and to make space for characters that've been missing a while, like... I dunno... Kurenai! I agree that Sage Mode deserves his own character though. I'm happy with that choice, and depending on if Bijuu's awakening or straight character, I may accept that choice too.

Huh I never said they shouldn't make a new naruto. Just obvious one of the old naruto isnt needed any more so there shouldn't realy be like 5 of them. I also said nothing about updating?

Also I see the goku costume as like a Lars. Can be used to make a real costume for naruto like menma or something

Menma is naruto and Tobi merged from the new movie from what I've been told. Don't realy care for him but seeing as how what they are doing with sasuke and Hinata I think he should be in but no more than a costume since from what I heard his jutsu is like rasangan but different style and color. Also can just change his awakening to sharingan or something.

Menma has to be a playable character in this game in my opinion. He would be the perfect surprise character, just like how Lars was for Storm 2. Except this is actually a Naruto characters.

Plus it seems quite plausible that he will be in the game, in fact I'm pretty sure of it because they put road to ninja hokage Naruto, road to ninja Sasuke and road to ninja hinata. I'm sure cc2 is hinting with those outfits.

Maybe they'll even do a little road to ninja story arc. Unlicy, don't really care if they don't but men a s a must for me.

I'm pretty sure menma fights differently, and he has a dark rasengan.

However I won't mind if he is just a costume change for Naruto. As long as they do the same thing they did for goku Naruto and change the rasengan. So instead of a normal blue rasengan it changes to the dark purple/black version..

With the rtn movie thats a great idea but its a bit of a spoiler ...jeeh yeah right i am one of the rare ones that uses spoilers lol....anyhow as a costume change sounds nice ...

...but that may not be enough since he may have a different style than conventional naruto.

Also I think I need to see more emphasis on cannon chars atm because there are still many of them missing ....anyhow I love the whole dlc and I also want more dlc (anbu itachi)... but only after my cannon char lists are completed since those are way more important and longer term.

Thinking about it, Mena can't be a costume change for Naruto, because it isn't Naruto. His name is different. How silly would it be to change to menma costume and he is still labelled as Naruto.

So Menma will have to be a separate character, his jutsu and fighting style would be too different to make a costume change anyway.
