It could be like Clash of Ninja where if you knock someone out of a stage, you could either deal more damage and knock them away, or appear behind them and hit them with an ultimate (as if they've been knocked back by an attack support). IMO this is a very good idea.

Exactly what I said. They were there in the past so it's a possibility that they may be incorporated into the storm series now.

Its crazy how much speculation is going on ....just based on what i see it seems to be multi layered stages....which really is what many of us asked for and will take this game to the next level pun intended

as far as the 7 swords im surprised to see them doing some jutsu like attacks but I think xgriever makes a solid point not to assume there all playable just yet...personally I feel like 7 swordsman = the new sound 4 hype and just like before im not joining the bandwagon.

ps....yours truly is hoping naruto will be able to use his weapons in some way for the samurai and or goku outfit. Even if its just a tilt....even better if he uses wind chakra for the blade.

It will be interesting seeing what other tweaks and elements will comprise the gameplay. Since cc2 confirmed that the mechanics are only about 20% then many changes will happen before release.......*ninpo nintai no juts*

Multi-layered, stage transition is a big yes from me if it ever happens. Brings me back to a screenshot of the Swordsmen battle where I spotted an unusual tree in the foreground but above the depression in the ground where the battle was taking place.
As for the Swordsmen being playable, I say big no no. They give us fancy angles all the time, this time is no different.

Regardless of all that speculation, I do like the new stage.

Yes, I'd definitely like other characters to get fancy costumes too, but that will never happen in a million years. CC2 wants to give another costume to a character other than Naruto? They choose Sasuke.

akatsuchi being playable would be more of a technicality he hasn't done any thing, it's kinda iffy giving him a higher priority for being a kage guard. even kotetsu and izumo have done more

As much as I'd like him in just for the sake of him being a support in Generations I guess I could live without him, Kurotsuchi on the other hand has shown quite a bit, I'd like her in. More Kunoichi is what this game needs.

i know they were in previous ones but i was refering to the storm series and there ideas for this installment. its not a stage transition, if it were they would have showed yamato hit the ground and naruto follow like the cause and effect i mentioned in a earlier post instead we see yamato kicked out the stage and you will probably get iruka or tsunade saying "RING OUT" then you win lol sounds broken to me to have ring outs with limited subs..im not liking the sound of it.

I'd like to see a kankuro scan...i like him in generations but he needs to have sasori as his basic puppet...

Itachi and Nagato scan can wait...they havent even been shown in the anime yet.

hmph...i give you and folks like anti-charger credit for making fair points that we should not jump to conclusions, however I noticed sometimes we under estimate the developers. Lets be patient and be a bit more positive despite the flaws we may see there is still many things thats epic plus lots we do not know yet.

yea but, we still dont know whats going on with them yet lol. Im fine with them at least being in the story hack n slash and at the very least support chars in vs mode. like with zetsu and kushina I prefer that to nothing at all.

nope this isnt true.

what was said that if theres enough fan input for jutsu clashes they will think about adding it.
