This quite clearly states that PTS characters will not return. And this also more or less confirms Jiraya and Hidan. But Hashirama and Tobirama can go either way...

I've said this before, I read the FRENCH interview, which is the raw literaly translated and first interview ever, and it just said it would not focus on the war, it never said pts characters won't be in, if you want to just look for the french interview and put that part in google translate

New screens on saiyan island. This game seems like it has a large possibility to be co-op. Also it seems the only updates to the k11 is the war outfits sadly

Hmz i dont mind them being the same pretty much. Liked them as they were, i just like more characters and maybe more Ultimate's.

I agree, im ready to bet the house PTS will not be in. And personally i hope they wont be. I always hated to have multiple slots for 1 character. Rather see 15 -new- characters added. (We already have K11 + S3 anyway)

Only people i want from the PTS period are the Sound 4. Would be awesome to have them in Storm 3, especially their awakenings!

lets not get ahead of our selves we don't even know if the old characters have new move sets. square based combos should be removed it takes no skill at all, it's harder to beat it then it is to do it so kinda lame . (i'm not saying it's hard to beat)

That was originally from a french interview, done a hell of a long time ago which only says "pts characters will not be focused on" as i've said. This new link you showed was not the original source and stated that line as simply "they wont be in".

And yes you might have missed the new interview which states "the characters that appeared in previous storm sagas are all still playable but the way that you will play as them is still to be revealed"...

Anyway, I think we should stop debating this, it honestly doesn't matter if the pts kids are in anyway. As for the other characters not in the war, I guarantee you one billion percent they are in.

You guys always say that but when I give out my PSN nobodys wants to play.. although I do recall playing with you megabbaut, in like summer its been a while though. We had good fights but you did spam chidori a couple of times the first round

Well, during the summer I went to Egypt, and spent a lot of time in places without internet.

Then I came back to the 11th grade. The year filled with tons of homework, college preparation, blah. blah. blah. SOMEHOW I got a chance to breath this weak, and after I saw all the news on SI I jumped right here. All that time I'm "online" on the PS3 has been my cousin using my account. Anyway, I'll enjoy my time here while I can. I have really missed this place....and my PS3 lol

After seeing that Hanzo is playable, I have the feeling that anyone could be, like even the past Raikage and Mizukage. Has anyone else had this feeling?

of all the things shown from first announcement to the recent events at the comic con what excites you all the most? list or describe lol can be just one thing or up to three max.

for me it was:
1. the announcement of more total chars than storm2 and even generation.
2. seeing two types of awakenings classic cinematic and new instant style.
3. learning that the game-play mechanics at comic con was only about 20%

I think the 3rd Raikage and 2nd Mizukage have no worries about not being a game, they definitely show enough moves wise. The only problem with them (And Muu and the 4th Kazekage) in this game is that we're probably not going to see them in action during the anime to warrant their confirmation as playable characters.

Still, I hold on to the shred of evidence with the Mizukage, and the fact we saw all the past kages, even if it was just their legs, during that new snippet from the trailer. Why make a 3D model you don't want to use? Not to get ahead of myself and all of my doubting I've done for this game, but on the topic of those Edo Tensei we saw during that trailer, Kinkaku had the Kokinjo rope wrapped around his arm when they don't pull out their weapons until they are conscious again on the battlefield. Might be a clue.
