Kimimaro needs knowledge of MS though, he's never been shown to have knowledge of it or it's moves. Plus how's he going to know not to look in Sasuke's eyes? Also if he has his eyes close he'll be at a disadvantage.

Kimimaru was one of Orochimaru's favorite pupils, I think he mighta said something about his past to him and if he closes his eyes, I'm not so sure of how much of a disadvantage he'll be, just because he has his eyes closed, doesn't necessarily mean he can't hear.

While his bones are as hard as steel, Chidori Sowrd can cut it, it has sliced through steel like butter and sliced through a bijuu. His Chidori can most likely penetrate Kimimaro. Also Kimimaro hasn't shown a strong enough genjutsu defence to survive Tsukuyomi and if he gets caught in Amaterasu he dies.

I think he can put a pretty good fight against Sasuke.

He hasn't really shown any feat at all, all of Sasuke's abilities has been shown, but almost none of Kimimaru's has, he's been shown as one extremely strong person in the Narutoverse, I'm not sure on whether or not he'd win, I just think he'd be a very tough match for anyone. If only he had lived, he probably would've been able to show more of his moves, but sadly, his body gave out to disease.

Kimimaro at 100% would win easily. People say amateraru then he wins. Amaterasu isn't that strong and it doesn't last that long (it doesn't last 7 days like how people say kakashi knows 1000 jutsu but but we have seen less than 15) Sasuke survived the attack. kimimaro is as fast as sasuke and is stronger than him too.

Amaterasu would have burned through a bijuu if Sasuke did't learn how to stop it the last second and Killer Bee wsn't such a fast thinker. Oh and Amaterasu isn't the only way for him to win, there's also his Chidori Varients, Kirin, Tsukuyomi. Also Sasuke dodged an attack from Killer Bee using Rari Atto Kimimaro won't be able to hit him.

ok im gonna say this im basing this on if if kimimaru had been at 100% skill lvl and had three more years to train i think he would roflstomp sasuke but since we dont know tht info we cant say but kimimaru from 3 years ago is still a good match for sasuke and if u say sasuke is faster than kimimaru at 100% when he could kepp up with lee by just surviving on sheer will and then ur wrong kimimaru is still one of the fastest characters in naruto shipp he can use bracken dance like nothing and sprout bones out of his body to defend sasuke wouldnt be good in taijutsu ameritsu if sasuke misses a few times then he cant use it even itatchi cried tears of blood when he used it to much but if kimmaru had survived and been at 100% he would be one of the strongest characters ever
