PM pop-ups

Hello,

Back when I first joined in '09, when I receive PMs, there would always be a pop-up box that notifies my saying that I have received a PM. But now, the box doesn't pop up anymore. I have checked the PM settings and marked the check-box for the pop-up option.
Just wondering if this feature is gone or something, and if possible, I would like to have the option back.

I believe they disabled that pop out option, don't know why tho.

^Agreed. I don't like having to check myself. I like that it would tell me.

I agree, although I believe the main reason was simply to lessen load on the server. That popup message performs various queries to find out if you have an unread PM. Although, I agree that it should be there and users who don't want it can just disable the popup.

I agree, let's sort out these server problems first before adding a PM notification popup
