Neji Vs. Zabuza

Except there's like, a really small pond nearby. Like 10 feet wide, 5 feet deep.

Two things.

The Byakugan would be able to still see Zabuza through the hidden mist thanks to chakra visibility. Also, Neji has escaped from Kisame's water prison.

I'd still say that 30% of Kisame > 100% of Zabuza. It was enough to keep two Jonin and two Chunin busy. Nearly beat them before Guy went 6-Gates. Either way, Neji knows how to escape from it now.

It was a clone of 30% Kisame no less.
Water Clones are stated to have 10% of Power from the caster.

So 10% of a 30% Kisame Clones which equals according to google calc to about 0,03% to true Kisame.

But that doesn't mean a Water Prison is the same.
Kisame still has chakra reserves comparable to a tailed beast. At 30%, Neji said he hadn't seen someone with that much chakra since Naruto.

Water Prisons really shouldn't have been affected by all of that.

I really don't see Neji getting caught in a Water Prison anyway, seeing how close range combat would be suicide for Zabuza. Even a guy with 6 arms knew that he wouldn't stand a chance.

Thats a very small amount of water for Zabuza to work with their mate.

Can Neji's byakugan see through Hidden Mist jutsu? Or since Hidden Mist is itself chakra. is it like putting on the brights in fog, and Neji is completely blinded?

I think it sees them in different color.

Sharingan certainly doesn't work in Hidden Mist.

Besides, wasn't it not "30% Kisame" only Kisame limited to use of 30% of chakra at one time.

Essentially a bandwidth constraint not a totally power constrain. Meaning, the clones could well combined 30% as he created them at the same time and that was the limiting rate?

it seem these 'clones' of kisame and itachi have the 'speed/power' of the originals and the like, their just limitted in chakra (hence why 'itachi' said he could not use tsukiyomi). they have 30% of the chakra reserves of the originals, but still essentially 'fight the same' (with the exception of techniques that require a really large amount of chakra). thus while it is a 'handicap', they (the kisame and itachi clones) are still the same fighters essentially. thus Gai using 6th gate to 'beat' so called '30% kisame', and the 7th to 'beat' 'true kisame' 'makes sense'; the same with kakashi vs itachi, as they have always been portrayed as comparable with kakashi have the ninjutsu advantage, itachi with genjutsu advantage, and taijutsu and 'battle stategies' the 'ever so slight' advantage to kakashi, with mangekyo sharingan being the diffence (and since kakashi attained mangekyo sharingan, that portayed difference has also diminished)

If that weren't the case there would be no point in using that type of clone to begin with. Coulda just used Shadow Clone and achieved the same result.

I would say it limits the type of jutsu Kisame could use, as he said himself. Meaning the water clones where pretty much the same as a full power Kisame would use, as they are judt water clones and a throughput of 30% is still well enough to make them.

I still wonder what the sword was. Samehada's chakra in another sword?
