So yeah, why is it that the Off-Topic forums posts dont count anymore? There is very little trolling in that forum nowadays. Almost all the topics are legit conversations too.

There is 100X more trolling and spamming in the Villages forums, and the chats/clubs, and all those, yet those still count towards peoples post.

Ever since they made posts not count in Off-Topic, it made it lose so much traffic. Its not nearly as busy as it used to be, outside of the usual 20-30 people who go there regularly.

This is a Naruto forum first and foremost, yes. But what are people doing here? They are chatting about Naruto. Do you think that people are always chatting about the Wars and their Village in the Villages Forum? Heck no, they're talking about how there day was or whatever else they want.

Sometimes people look for a break from the Naruto discussions, and want to go and discuss things outside the Naruverse in Off-Topic, such as new movies they went and saw, romantic problems, or just anything they find interesting. But to make those posts not count because someone started a Spam Game in the forum, just doesnt seem fair to me.

If they start one of those games, let them know that there is a Forum Games area that they can do that in. Simple, right?

We want to keep everyone posting at the forums, and getting comfortable and meeting as many new people as they can, but every now and then, even I need a break from the Naruto discussions, so I go to Off-Topic. By not counting the posts, they have made that forum so much less visited. There aren't nearly as many topics made, and its hard to find conversations outside of the usual group, as I stated earlier. We're just basically making people want to go to a different forum to discuss non-Naruto things, or even leave the forum completely.

So why should Off-Topic not count when its just intelligent conversations?

We got some people racking up thousands of posts with 1 word responses in the Villages, and thats fine. But if we count that, I just think we should count a post that's so much more legit and detailed.

So can I get reason for this?

By the way, Im not saying that Villages shouldnt count. Im just saying that if all that useless conversation counts(Not all is useless, just most. And dont even deny it) then why shouldn't the legit topics in Off-Topic count?

I dont care about post counts but alot of the members here like having the post count races and all that, so make it fair for them.

NAY, again, there is no point of making it count again. The reason it was taken off its because people were making threads like this

COME HERE AND POST ANYTHING

which btw are still there. the reason the villages count, tho its spamming sometimes with posts such as "HI" "yeah" and such, it limits the thread making.

And if we do then we should make every sub forum count too.

Simple. LOCK THOSE TOPICS.

The Mods are way too friendly sometimes. If the topic has no purpose, get rid of it. Simple solution.

exactly at least the topics on the villages have the village name in it.


i think the fan forge deserves to count WAY more than the off topic section.

toma and aurega had a talk about this, locking threads is kinda bad.

If someone is new and finds it and has an opinion on "WASS TEH BEST GAME EVR" cant post anything. and thats not fair. specially cause off topic is full of those topics. so what is that new person gonna do? start a new thread with the same title and the FARMING, you hate so much, will just multiply.

People gotta learn, you know? But I understand its tough since the average forum age is 15 years old.

But still, there's a specific forum for every kind of topic. If someone puts the wrong topic in the wrong forum, it deserves to be moved or locked....

everytime I see some stupid attempt to hide a off topic thread in order to get post count, and increase their ranks they pull aa fast one on me I will say this, if you are going to try to trick me (Like that will happen) come up with a original, and convincing excuse I can even tell you how many times I heard "I love Naruto" everytime I report the thread after too many "soooo what now?"
