superman exists, the end. The only way to kill him is to destroy the SUN!!!! Which shadow can't do. He also dosen't know that he would need to blow up the sun to do it. So Superman! Punch! Shadow=dead.

Grandfather Paradox. If he destroys the sun before it forms, life on Earth will have never have evolved and Gerald Robotnik would never have created Shadow, so how can he exist to go back and destroy the sun.
Alternately, anything that happens stays happened, which means that Shadow going back and "destroying" the sun is part of the time-line and as a new sun managed to pop up again anyway, there's no way for Shadow to change the past. Quite outside of the fact that he needs a Chaos Emerald to use Chaos Control and I don't see any reference to him being capable of time travel. |

current superman loses... chaos control for shadow is a bit too much for supes right now...
supposing that OP assumes shadow is primed, then he should be lightspeed which is hell of a lot faster than current supes... |
