A silence falls over the room, covered in a fresh blanket of tension. There are nervous glances stolen between the group before the archer interrupts, "How's that wizard?"

"I was visited by the Oracle and he revealed to me that Nicodemus lives. I have no idea how Nicodemus has cheated death, but I do know that he will attempt to release the Scion and if he succeeds, all will be lost."

At your words Al frowns and shakes his head, "but how?" he asks softly to no one in particular. Then he raises his head to meet your eyes, "I don't doubt what you say is true, but how could the Scion rise again? You yourself sealed him away, you broke the very seal that could unleash him, even if Nicodemus does live how could reawaken the Scion without the seal?"

(for the record you don't actually know yourself.)

"I don't know - All I know is that Nicodemus is alive and that the Scion may arise in a new vessel unless we all band together to find Nicodemus and the intended vessel before he succeeds."

Chief Harris clears his throat, "ahem, I don't mean to be rude or sound... ignorant, but I'm not as well versed in this, "supernatural" stuff as the rest of you. I familiar with the Scion, but what exactly do you mean by vessel?"

Al answers, eager to keep the meeting moving forward, "When the wizard fought the Scion it was against all odds, the Scion is not a mortal being, to kill the Scion is near impossible. So the wizard did the next best thing. He sealed the power of the Scion within an a relic and then destroyed the relic. The Scion's vessel will still exist, reincarnating until the end of time for all we know, but it's cut off from it's power, the thing that makes it dangerous," Al gives you a grim look, "Or atleast, that was the plan."
"And just who is this Nicodemus?" asks the archer.

"A dark wizard who also trained under my master, the third Merlin. His prowess in the dark arts made him the only one capable of releasing the Scion. I was almost positive that I removed him and his taint years ago.."

"He was the Scion's right hand man." Al adds.
"So how does that apply to our current situation?" Father Gregor asks stroking his beard stoically.
"It means he's not someone to be taken lightly."
"I was thinking out loud." Gregor replies. "We have to examine everything that's happening, see how it fits together, where it all starts..." He trails off thinking.
"Pretty sure the big flash in the sky was the grand kick off." The archer says wryly.
"Yeah.. but to what..." Harrison mumbles
"That's what we're here to figure out." Al says once again taking controlling, "We all need to share any information we have, even the smallest detail, there has to be something that explains all of this."

Alright a few key things happen. First, you feel a strong presence coming near. It feels as if the air around you is getting tighter. Nothing uncomfortable to alarm you but it keeps you alert. Moments later the door to the room opens and a stern looking woman walks in. All heads turn in her direction, and Al clears his throat, "Glad to see you could make it, everyone this is Void, she's with the SS."
"Let's skip the introduction, why don't you just bring me up to speed?" she says coolly as she takes the empty seat beside the archer. You notice upon her entering he's straightened his posture, his lax manner is now much more disciplined.
"Well, we've agreed that the big flash was bad. Other than that we haven't achieved much aside from a brief history lesson."
Al clenches his jaw, "We were just about to have everyone share whatever information they have, why don't you start?"
The archer looks to at Void for her reaction. Al sighs, "I'll start. I was working on tracking down a few rogue scionists, just some small fries, I was right in the middle of chasing them down when the flash happened. Now that was around midnight. Because of the light I lost the scion punks, so I headed back. Then I felt something, some kind of dark aura. I started fallowing it and encountered strange creatures, things i've never seen before. They were like dogs wrapped in shadows, nothing i threw at them seemed to make and difference. I ended up falling back. After awhile I started to notice the people. No one was around, and when i finally did manage to find someone..." Al pauses thinking of the right words.
"They wouldn't wake?" Gregor supplies for him
"Exactly. Alive but unresponsive."
Gregor Nods, "Aye. That was the first sign that something was wrong. I was up late when that light erupted from the sky. After it appeared i went to my people. Many of our staff were confused, but unharmed, but the curious thing, it seems anyone not awake during the flash simply... can't wake. We've checked their vitals, nothing seems physically wrong with them, other than their inability to wake up. "

I don't have anything to add at the moment, and I think I understand more about the Blackouts now.
