Jason Bourne vs James Bond

In a battle of who is the best spy/assassin. These two come face to face on a mission, Bond is protecting Jason's target and is willing to do whatever is necessary to protect his client.

Equipment: Both get a pistol and all their hand to hand training.

Location: A high class mansion with plenty of things sitting around for Bourne to weaponize(by which I mean, pick up and hit Bond with, things like TVs and table to smash him into, etc.)

Who wins?

How about no Bond gets bent over without his gadgets for the most part. Bourne walks into the enemy base and makes a phone call.:LOS

James Bond wins of course.

Why?

It's really simple. James Bond has all of British Intelligence and American Intelligence on his side.

Jason Bourne has got nobody.

Sure Bourne may have nobody to back him up, but most of the time he doesn't need it. Most of his skills are completely reflexive, he doesn't even have to try most of time to take guys down. If it came down to a hand to hand fight, I see Bourne winning in the long run. And to answer your question, 321zigzag, lets say its an equal parts mash up of the Pierce Brosnan(not sure if spelled right) and Daniel Craig Bond personalities.

Sure, you can say James Bond has plot too but unlike Jason Bourne
there will always be someone to replace James Bond. Once Bourne
is dead then it's over. Once Bond is dead it has only just begun.

Bonds wins cause he is James Bonds and his british accent causes Bourne to realize he can't win and then beg Bonds not to kill him.

This is fundamentally flawed: Bond gets gadgets from Q before mission start.

Brosnan does get the sauve part down, but he's far from the best. Craig I kinda liked--but the second go was a bit meh. Still, I'd have liked that story cycle closed before the next venture.

I still go with the individual who walks into government agencies and makes a phone call. While being on an every governments most wanted list. Bond is more likely to catch a bullet before locating Bourne.
