this is a toughie. kakashi would have a hard time landing a lightning blade on him... i think kimimaru wins this.

If Kimimaro had a hard time fighting off Lee and Gaara he's got nothing on Kakashi whose speed easily exceeds the pair at that time.

Kakashi punches a hole in his chest with Chidori.

^He really didn't have a hard time. He would've won if he wasn't sick. I mean,he had a hard time, but at the same time he didn't. Pretty much anyone else would get trapped by Sand Tsunami or Gaara's sand shower distraction.

Kimimaro casually reacted to first gate lee.He was only caught because Gaara's tsunami was too large scale, and he also used a distraction with his sand shower. And Kimis durability is insane.

Kakashi charges in with a Raikiri, and gets himself impaled by dance of the pines. Close combat is Kimimaro's forte. And he also has a great ranged game with his bone bullets, which could also pierce Gaara's sand.

That incredible speed was from shunshin, which I don't think he ever used it on kakashi. Gated Lee looks a lot faster.. and Kimimaro's dance of the pines comes out really quickly. After he said the name of his technique, Lee didn't even have the chance to move much at all before the bones came out.

And since Kakashi has to charge the raikiri, he'll have more time to prep for whats about to come.

Why is Kakashi Raikiri'ng off the bat again?

You are seriously skating on thin ice if that is even a part of your starting post. Nobody actually knows what a healthy Kimi can do and as long as that fact remains true, we have no reason to believe he's any stronger.

Also, the only hint at his strength in healthy form is that he kicked he

out or the Sound 4. Which the sand siblings had done quite soundly.

For the match, I personally don't believe the part 1 and part 2 gap is that large, but Kakashi is still powerful as of now. His sharingan would save him from unpredictable traps while Raikiri is suppose to have extreme piercing power so it's perfect here.

I also don't remember Rock Lee being in gated mode either.

I believe in most of Uchiha Sora's points but not the victor. See, Kimimaro was a bad-ass back then in Part 1, but Kakashi is the legit master of the two. He was suppose to have better taijutsu than PTS Lee in the early Shippuden arc and is augmented with ninjutsu to support his beastly taijutsu. Plus he's got the mind to handle them, you're putting these weapons into the hands of a skilled genius (which is a pretty frightening combo). Raikiri is suppose to be made for piercing and all so it isn't THAT far a stretch to say that it'll hurt even this

of a tanker. He usually executes his ninjutsu pretty fast too, like how he used 2 ninjutsu WHILE having a taijutsu skirmish (and 1 is Raikiri, what do yah know

I could go on and list other crap that he has but I love going with the general instead of the specifics. Which is really: he has the tools to kill, he has the ability to use them, and he seems diverse enough to handle Kimimaro's onslaught. Consider that he gets slower in his Lvl2 state as a trade-off for his extra durability. The worst case scenario I see is him using kamui. This also seems like an option if he uses Bone Field as both Gaara and Lee were able to "look" at Kimimaro before impact.

I never said anything about his condition when fighhting Kakashi. Somone said he couldn't beat Gaara and Lee so I only mentioned that because Kimimaro would have literally skewered Gaara's head off if his disease didn't kill him.

And that Kakashi thing is questionable. I've tried to use those types of featss before but Kakashi could have already been pretty close when Sasuke started up his chidori.

Thats more of cutting a feat for lightning chain...

He opened a gate after he woke up from being drunk. He circled around Kimi, tried to blitz with Initial Lotus, but Kimi just stopped the kick with his bones.
