Thats because Kishimoto skipped the fight entirely. All she did was wrap few guys up in paper for interrogation.

Sasori can surround Konan with the iron sand of the third kazekage and crush her and she won't be able to get away, plus konan doesn't have an attack physically powerful enough to destroy that one puppet(forgot it's name)

Yeah but all we have seen of her in both incidents was her using plain paper. Considering her killing intent both times it would make sense if she had used it. Despite that, she has only used it against Tobi and it was said that she planned out the whole thing beforehand.

I just don't see Konan having exploding tags in her standard moveset.
The Jiraiya fight is an example. The one and only person she deeply cares about at that time was Nagato. Nagato ordered her to kill the Jiraiya. She successfully traps Jiraiya in her paper coffin. If she had explosive tags, then wouldn't she just use those and blow him up? Especially since they know Jiraiya is a very capable shinobi. Instead, she uses normal paper to form a spear. Then she uses normal paper to form shuriken. Interesting choice of moves when her order was to kill a Sannin. Against Tobi, she clearly states that she prepared for their fight. She says that she's been studying him the entire time they worked together. Specifically, she studied his Phasing/Teleportation Techniques. Knowing that she'd only have a split second to attack, choosing to add explosive tags specifically against Tobi is logical. Tobi's statement about Konan is what really convinces me, "!!! She mixed her papers with explosive tags" If Konan usually has explosive tags, then it'd be something like Might Guy saying "What? Kakashi has the Sharingan?!"

sasori uterlly destroys konan unless her explosive tags are able to set his puppet body on fire, even then im not sure if fire will kill sasoris heart scroll
