Yeah, Konan was given much longer than 5 minutes of prep against Tobi. That's how she understood his Phasing/Teleportation Techniques and made an ocean of explosive tags.

I highly doubt with 5 minutes, she would be able to have enough explosive tags. She most likely can't even create them as shown against Jiraiya.

Don't see how with limited, if any, explosive tags gets her past Third Kazekage Sasori.

Sasori doesn't breathe. His wing blades can just slice it open. He has flamethrowers on his palms.

Stamina wise, we know Sasori doesn't tire so it'll be Konan that would get exhausted first."

Not really. It's completely unnecessary. However, a "tier list in progress" is always inevitable, because people who see the purpose of BG debates to be "deciding a winner" will ultimately find that a tier list would "decide all winners" and strive to perfect one. People content with participating in debates, who find that to be the "goal" and true enjoyment of the BG, won't really find a tier list necessary, but the primary function of a tier list is to decide who would defeat who indefinitely. As the rule is that a character defeats everyone below him and loses to everyone above him, a universally accepted tier list can be considered the ultimate end goal of hypothetical debaters.

Of course, people who debate for the sake of enjoyment won't need to go for that, but actively keeping oneself out of tier debates is a different matter altogether as the tier list merely provides more points to be debated on in a fashion no different from a normal debate.

To sum up, no one has any need of a tier list, but it's never going to go away because no one has any need to get rid of it.

To put it another way, it depends entirely on your viewpoint. Either deciding once and for all who would beat who is the ultimate goal, or the enjoyment of the debate itself is the only driving force. The tier list supplements both ideals by providing finality on who beats who and supplying the average debater with more points to debate and more matchups to be had.

Maybe there should be a less rigid tier list then, because no tier will be perfect.
