Well they both need prep to be fully dangerous. On summon wise, Bunta trumps Baku with Toad Oil Flame bullet. It really comes down to who can unlock their powers first.

PS: Im taking Shisui's eye out of the equation.

Jiraiya could possible be caught off guard when he kills Danzo the first time (he should use Izanagi very early in the fight). I was thinking something like..

1) Danzo activates Izanagi and runs towards Jiraiya
2) Jiraiya Rasengans Danzo and sends his corpse far away
3) Danzo reappears behind Danzo and blind-sides him, kind like what Asura did

Can Danzo appear directly right behind Jiraiya. Because in his fight with Sasuke he never appeared directly behind; he always rematerialized quite a distance away.

I think he did it the first time we see him reappear, trying to kunai back stab Sasuke through Susano'o

All Jiraiya needs to do is be able to enter SM. In SM, he could actually finish this battle quite fast.

Jiraiya Just uses sage mode and then summons gamabunta and crushes Danzo while he's not yet using izanagi.

Ive always wondered this but, theres never been any on screen proof whatsoever that Danzo would know kotoamatsukami. Why do you guys think Danzo can activate it? Unless Tobi is Obito I dont see any way for if one person unlocks the MS the other person automatically does. Just because Danzo transplanted Shisuis MS doesnt mean he can activate it to the level of power he can and use his highest level technique. If he was able to use it instead of just his weaker form of manipulating then he definitely would have used it already against Sasuke. You can claim maybe he used it within the past 10 years sure, well you also should be able to provide proof that he can use the MS since you guys think its so possible.

If it's HM Jiraiya then the Toad Sages may be able to snap him out of it but he's in base I think

Jiraiya should be able to disable Baku via Dark swamp so thats not a problem.

Izanagi may be a bit of a surprise for Jiraiya though, I'd imagine Danzo would take advantage of this and try a sneak attack.

He can also spit fire in Baku's mouth like Sasuke did, maybe prevent himself from being sucked in with Wild Lion's Mane.

Jiraiya has a lot of offense that he can use against Danzo and plenty of stamina so Danzo might not be able to outlast him with Izanagi.

If Danzo can somehow manipulate Jiraiya to win then he takes it. But there are other factors you have to consider concerning that.

Im not even gonna consider Kotoammy. It ruins the whole fight.
I think Jiraiya could outlast Izanagi tho. He has a lot of defenses, and a pretty wide variety of jutsu.

However, Danzo could possibly blitz with Shisui's eye/body flicker.

Of course we could just say he uses Kotoammy and makes him kill himself but that wouldn't be fun.

The problem would be a surprise attack, Jiraiya's already fallen for it once so maybe once he kills Danzo the first time, he'll get a kunai surprise through the back for a late Christmas present. If only he lived long enough to get to Tsunade's room...

We've seen Danzo manipulate people with his eye, but that's it. We haven't seen Danzo manipulate someone on the level of killing themself. IMO Danzo cant use it on the same level.

Jiraiya would see Danzo as a threat so he'd summon Bunta to fight him while he preps Sage Mode. Once Jiraiya enters Sage Mode, then Danzo is done.

Jiraiya still won't know that Danzo can use Izanagi, and I doubt Jiraiya would use his sensing barrier since he only did that to detect Pains chameleon.
