This is a surprisingly long lasting thread.... Byakuya has lower durability, and possibly even stamina, then theres the fact Kenpachi has raw power over Byakuya, but Byakuya is by far a more rounded fighter. The speed gap between them is portrayed fairly large too, I agree Kenpachi can tank most kido, but their is no way in hell Byakuya wouldn't just seal him up with a bakudo. And to put it bluntly have his way with him in this.... Their is also the AoE advantage Byakuya has and the fact he can be extremely ranged. Kenpachi has little chance, UNLESS Byakuya let him even get close enough to hit....

That's implying Kenpachi COULD catch Byakuya, he shouldn't be able to react to his let alone keep up. Byakuya is more well rounded, especially on the basis that he can fight close and long ranged, and regarding my first post here, what's stopping him from just restricting his movements with Bakudo?

essentially comes down to whether kenpachi can withstand byakyuas senkei petals,,rather doubtful despite kenpachis durability, seems likely how they took down yammy as well via thousands of petals

Guys, with all due respect Byakuya being too fast for Kenpachi to handle is BS. Kenpachi managed to blitz Ichigo in Shikai when Byakuya couldn't even though he kept trying to afterwards. Not only that, but against Yammy, when they got mad at each other Kenpachi had time to move and charge at Byakaya just like the latter was able to.
