this story is basically about me and my life in high school. of course, stuff here will be changed to make the story seem more interesting, but i wont tell you whats true and whats not, cause you wouldnt believe me.

anyways, names have been changed to protect those involved (no my real name is not dan lensure! stop asking me that!) i will post every time something worth posting happens. and please no hate comments.

chapter 1: the chapter where i fill you in on my backstory so that you have a clue to whats going on.

well, it all started about four years ago when the youngest of the three prime evils entered my body and became my minds guardian..... speed up 2 years....... i sign a contract in blood and soul with him in a dream, but i dont remember what it said..... speed up another 2 years to my freshman year of high school. long story short, i am from a family of people who reincarnate into the body of someone else whenever we die. we can all use energy, which is kinda like the force, but actually real. damon even had a mood swing and caused a power outage to half the school. we all have natural elements (which is basically your personality, but you can do much more with that) and mine is darkness, with minor waterness. i can actually absorb energy from things (which is the reason that i have been killed by other family members) and it makes me stronger. oh, and one more thing. my most known reincarnation is alexander the great, but we only begin to get the memories of our past lives when we are around other family members.

chapter 2: a breif review of my first quarter of high school so that you know everybody's motives.

well, lets see. whats worth noting. well, lets see. first of all, Damon, my family uncle, and Evan, my family father, were the ones who introduced me to the family. well, actually i kept staring them down until i got the information i needed. (take that, chuck norris) but the one who got me INTO the family is Doku. (yes, like the nut) but he didnt do it the "traditional" way, so people hated me for that. anyways, my family mother, angelica, thought i was getting too powerful for my own good, so she bound my energy. i got the help from evan and his girlfriend katie (who is also my aunt) to get my energy back, and we knocked angelica away from her queen position and gave it to katie. that caused problems and the family split in two, with each side claiming the other is evil. a little known fact is that doku and his friend justin are really in a secret orginasation called N-corp and they plan on destroying the family completely. doku is SUPPOSED to be training me in the ways of magic, but he has failed thusfar, and justin hired me to spy on doku. i think that handles all the people's intentions for doing stuff, so there you go.

i know. its meant to be confusing. its a little trick that writers use, but it works better when you can INSTANTLY read the next chapter. it might not work for people who have to wait for the next chapter.

chapter 3: the chapter where the story actually STARTS

I awoke with a start, my head throbbing. "i know! i know! im up!" i yelled at no one. or at least, if anyone were watching, it would seem like no one. in reality, it was diablo, the demon that entered my body 4 years ago and stayed there. Either way, he decided to act as my personal alarm clock so that I'm not late for school, or at least thats his excuse. I love music, and he hates my music, so this is his revenge for me listening to my ipod so much. I got out of bed, did all the stuff that people do before going to school, and got driven to school.

once I made it to school, I met all my friends in the school cafe. I saw my friend Evan, and appeared next to him. Literally. If you cast a shadow, I can do that to you. "whats up?" I asked him simply. He replied by pointing at Angelica, who hated me ever since I ruined her queenship a few days ago. I was no longer intimidated by her, so when she turned around, I formed an energy ball (which is like a regular ball, but its made out of energy, so you cant see it) and threw it at her. It hit her head, by the looks of it. She responded by pulling my leg out from under me and causing me to fall on my butt. This was a normal day for energy users, and the family was made up of the strongest of them. Like last monday, when Damon had a mood swing and "accidently" caused half the school to have a power outage. He was never caught.

Speaking of Damon, I talked with him for a few minutes about what our broadcast journalism homework was, while he simultaniously attempted to get into my mind. It was our little game. the problem was that we both had demons in our minds who dont like intruders, so no one ever gets in the other persons mind for longer than a few seconds. He was also the only other person with a dark elemental base (besides Joss), so we got along better than most people usually do.

After I talked with Damon and we played our game of "mind tower defense", I went to my former friend turned enemy turned friend again, Lowen. (although i call him yo en) I got him in the family, but just like me, it wasn't in the "traditional" way of waiting 4 months to make sure he is a family member. He thinks he is better than me just because he ACCIDENTLY busted a transformer by touching it. pfft. show off. "whats up with you, Yo en?" I ask boredly. Lowen replies sarcastically by saying "oh, nothing much. the other family is just gearing up for war".

Chapter 4: WAAAAAAAAAR!!!!

Well, when lowen said "war", you might have thought of two armies marching into battle in an effort to kill eachother. Well, that's sorta the case. Basically, two families meet up at either side of the park and rush towards eachother in an attempt to beat eachother up. The rules are pretty simple. The winner is the family that doesn't run away, and you can only use energy based weapons. no lead pipes or broken bottles or anything like that.

So anyways, school went by quickly and I immediately ran over to the park, where most of my other family members were already waiting. We had our usual chat, but there isn't much strategy when the whole point of the fight is to rush forward, so when the last of the family arrives, we send out an energy flare into the sky. The other family sends out theirs, and the game is on! Me, evan, and lowen all decided to go together, and we went into the park.

It is a big park, with a lot of wooden stuff to climb. So we take the trail that is higher up. Unfortunately, some enemy dude saw us while we was up there too, and he came at us with what I could sense was an energy knife. "Why a knife whhen he could use a sword?" Evan asked, summoning his energy sword. Lowen thinks that he is "too cool to use weapons" and instead relies on zapping people by shooting electricity out of his hands. Show off. I personally summon my bo staff and engage the enemy. The guy makes a quick jab at me, but I simply sidestep and smack him in the face with my staff, knocking him out cold. Epic win.We continue forward and I look over my shoulder, but I only see joss getting hit in the face with an energy ball. I look away and continue forward, hoping we don't lose this fight.

We reach the other side of the park with no interruptions, which means we have to go back into the fray. So we turn around and rush back into the park, just in time to see out family being outnumbered. But the enemy didn't expect an attack from behind and are completely caught off guard when one of them feels something smash their head in, another one feel like something got stabbed through them, and yet another one feel like they just touched a high voltage generator. The surprise attack gets the attention of the other enemies, and they turn away from their previous fight, which was a bad idea. Their opponents attack, and within a few short minutes, the other family is running scared. I throw an energy ball straight at one of their asses, and I laugh as I see him feel the pain. All in all, it was a good day.

chapter 5: hopefully not the death of millions

I woke up the next morning in my room, with Diablo's headache greeting me once again. I decide to walk to school today, but I notice that someone is following me. Well, less of someONE, but more of someTHING. I could sense that a puppet was moving quickly after me.

now I know what your thinking. But no, I am not talking about a little wooden puppet, I'm talking about a monster-like spirit that someone creates for various purposes. They can't be harmed by most items, but energy and spiritual religious stuff can easily harm them. The problem is that they move incredibly fast, and they can pick stuff up and throw it, which is why they are commonly mistaken for ghosts or something like that.

anyways, this one was coming straight for me, so I launched some energy shards at it, but it simply sidestepped and kept advancing. I hate puppets. I attempted to throw a big energy ball at it, but it just ripped through it. I really hate puppets. It was close now, so I summoned an energy bo staff and swung it at the puppet as it got to me. It rolled under me to dodge my attack, then came up behind me and started scratching at my back. Did I mention that I really hate puppets?

I moved desperately to get it off, but that thing wouldn't let up. So I had to do something difficult. I willed my entire body to fill up with energy, then unleashed it all out into the open, knocking the puppet away from me and surprising it. I take the opening and stab my bo staff right though it. It is destroyed after a couple more stabs. I turn and continue walking to school, having no idea who sent this at me or why. God, I hate puppets.

chapter 6:its Christmas in Hollywood

well, I realized one thing when I arrived at school. It was Christmas. I also realized one more thing. There was no school today. So I walked home, aggravated, and made a point of kicking the dead puppet multiple times when I passed it, until it finally dissolved into nothingness. I hate puppets with great intensity.

well, I got home and messed with my family's minds to make them forget that it ever happened. I don't need any ridicule on Christmas. I guess everyone was gonna wait until I got "back from school", so we opened our presents, and I went into my room with my new HP tablet. I don't know if Diablo would have made fun of me for going school, but he kept his mouth shut because he hates Christmas. Who would've guessed it....

I actually thought of getting Diablo a present, but I decided against it after I thought of giving him a blessed cross. He didn't seem to like that idea. I wondered why the puppet was sent to attack me, because holidays are like unspoken days of rest. I decided not to question it as long as I am not attacked again today. And with that being said, the rest of my day went off pretty uneventful. Although I did see a sign that said "church open 8 days a week. Closed on sunday". Weird.

chapter 7: demons don't like us

twas the day after Christmas, and all though facebook....... What rhymes with facebook? Whatever. Anyways, I was on facebook, and I was talking with my friend Katie.

"sup, Katie" I say.

"hey dan." she replies.

"how was your christmas?" I ask boredly.

"it was fun." Katie says.

"yea, well I would have had a little more fun, but Diablo doesn't like Christmas. Especially when I thought of giving him a Christmas present"

"what present?"

I smile as I type "a silver cross" and send it.

Katie replies by saying "you know, I could let Diablo possess me so that he could talk to you on facebook. You wanna do it?"

I quickly type "no!", but it was too late. Diablo liked that idea, and my next message from "Katie" was "hey, its me".

I realize what happened and reply "who? Katie? Santa claus?"

"diablo, you idiot!"

"Satan claus?"

"I'm a kill you..."

I respond sarcastically with "I'd rather you didn't. So when I go to church, what do you do?"

"I get the hell out!"

and in a few seconds, Katie suddenly regains control of herself, so the conversation ends. Katie says that she has to leave to go see the musical theatre production "wicked", so I log off. Unfortunately, I soon get a text that Diablo is still with her, and she is being attacked! I try my best to will Diablo to come back to me, but Katie says that the demon is still attacking her. I try once more, but I suddenly feel like I've just been kicked in the head. That could only mean that Diablo was trying to tell me something. Something important. That the demon attacking Katie WASN'T him.

I hate puppets with great intensity. well, I got home and messed with my family's minds to make them forget that it ever happened. I don't need any ridicule on Christmas. I guess everyone was gonna wait until I got "back from school", so we opened our presents, and I went into my room with my new HP tablet. I don't know if Diablo would have made fun of me for going school, but he kept his mouth shut because he hates Christmas. Who would've guessed it.... I actually thought of getting Diablo a present, but I decided against it after I thought of giving him a blessed cross. He didn't seem to like that idea. I wondered why the puppet was sent to attack me, because holidays are like unspoken days of rest. I decided not to question it as long as I am not attacked again today. And with that being said, the rest of my day went off pretty uneventful. Although I did see a sign that said "church open 8 days a week. Closed on sunday". Weird.

Anyways, I was on facebook, and I was talking with my friend Katie. "sup, Katie" I say. "hey dan." she replies. "how was your christmas?" I ask boredly. "it was fun." Katie says. "yea, well I would have had a little more fun, but Diablo doesn't like Christmas. Especially when I thought of giving him a Christmas present" "what present?" I smile as I type "a silver cross" and send it. Katie replies by saying "you know, I could let Diablo possess me so that he could talk to you on facebook. You wanna do it?" I quickly type "no!", but it was too late. Diablo liked that idea, and my next message from "Katie" was "hey, its me". I realize what happened and reply "who? Katie? Santa claus?" "diablo, you idiot!" "Satan claus?" "I'm a kill you..." I respond sarcastically with "I'd rather you didn't. So when I go to church, what do you do?" "I get the hell out!" and in a few seconds, Katie suddenly regains control of herself, so the conversation ends. Katie says that she has to leave to go see the musical theatre production "wicked", so I log off. Unfortunately, I soon get a text that Diablo is still with her, and she is being attacked! I try my best to will Diablo to come back to me, but Katie says that the demon is still attacking her. I try once more, but I suddenly feel like I've just been kicked in the head. That could only mean that Diablo was trying to tell me something. Something important. That the demon attacking Katie WASN'T him.
