Stopped reading it because I was getting too far ahead of the dub.

Yeah, its no surprise that you are reading the manga. Im sure a lot of Naruto fans are. I just like to follow the show, exclusively. I wanna be surprised by all the action! Its good that youre reading it though! ^_^ And Katsu means that those episodes 113 -126 will be on itunes, sometime in the near weeks.

That's correct, I'm currently only watching the anime, dubbed, no subs or manga.

I never bought the manga books, I read them for free by checking them out from my public library or reading them while sitting down on a couch or chair at my local bookstore.

You're wrong Robbie. Volume 48 is the end of the Pain arc, not Volume 45.

Volume 48 was released on June 01, 2010, so I am correct.

(I count Pain's attack on the Leaf Village as part of the Pain arc)
