Naruto and Sasuke vs Pain

Pain has knowledge. Naruto and Sasuke don't.
CT is restricted.

Seeing as how Sasuke and Naruto's attacks are all ninjutsu wise, the Preta Path could just absorb all their skills whenever they attack one of them. Once they figure out that path's power, the battle might be more even. Animal Path's summons can be handled by their respective summons.
However, I dont see how the are going to defend themselves again Shinra Tensei and Banshou Tennin, In my eyes, I think the 6 paths of pain will win

Naruto can make all the freakin clones he wants, Chou Shinra Tensei takes care of all of them.

^Well I mean, would Pain really go with a Chou Shinra Tensei like that? I could see him doing that if Naruto made crap loads of clones, but not like 4 or 5

Deva already faced this situation before. Naruto was able to counter it by backing himself up with base clones, and even without knowledge, its what he'll likely do. Deva didnt use CST either which shows you how out of character it is.

Not only that but Naruto with Rikudou Mode has a heightened defense. It would take less clones to counter something like that. Sasuke's also there and he'll be spamming his new EMS Susanoo. If Deva uses CST which he probably wont, hes only setting himself up for more failure, since its going to weaken him drastically.

ch.341 pg.4, ch.442 pg. 11, ch.545 pg.17, ch.561 pg.18. Pages differ on the website but it all shows Naruto using tons of clones. Especially since he has no knowledge, he would try to figure out the opponents moves with his clones, like he did with Kakuzu.

His paths would all be negatively affected if he used CST so he still wouldnt use it. Either way, Naruto and Sasuke both have good defenses.

Nagato was being directly controlled by Kabuto at that point.

Naruto defeated Pain once and he could do it again.With Sage Mode Naruto could beat Pain all over again.

But with Sasuke on his team it could be an entirely different outcome.Sasuke could turn on naruto half way through the battle and it would become a more one sided match between Naruto vs Pain and Sasuke.

This battle is based entirely on "ifs" and "buts" so i cannot predict a outcome.

When theyre on the same team, theyre supposed to work together. Sasuke cant turn on Naruto otherwise this thread would be pointless

Probably Team 1, and I'm not going for an OOC fight where all paths but Deva go inside the chameleon summon and revive him by summoning corpse + Naraka path

There's full knowledge, but I don't think that is the same as being free from falling into a trap. For example, I'm sure Pein knew all about the transformation technique, but he still got caught by a transformed FRS. What I'm saying is that full knowledge doesn't mean they are not prone to get damaged.

Now the problem with Pein fighting is that we usually can't tell if he will BT with the other paths out instantly. If that were the case then I highly doubt Jiraiya could have captured the Animal Path.

Naruto Vs. Jinchiruuki = No clones despite being outnumbered

And his paths would just pass out for a moment, and then get right back up. See the fight again please.

Once when Preta Path grabbed him, but failed to realize Nature chakra would petrify him. Knowledge takes care of that.
Once when he was pinned with Chakra rods and Pain was taking his sweet time, talking to him and goading him, then Hinata jumped in. Plot.
Again when he was in CT. But daddy talk no jutsu'd motivation into him.

Not to mention, Naruto completely and utterly lost his fight with Edo Nagato, nearly getting his soul ripped out WITH the help of Killer Bee, and only escaped due to Itachi's help. Also stood there like a dunce during CT, and let Itachi once again save him.

TBC youre missing that his clones were already out. He tried to make more, but each clone splits his chakra in half its not something he can just spam when theres already 10 clones elsewhere. Now when you take his feats every single fight he's ever been in other than the very specific ones you pinpointed he spammed them like no tomorrow.

Naruto already defeated Pain and adding onto someone with the EMS and the great feats that Sasuke has displayed and the new feats of Narutos that are insanely more powerful than past Naruto, I see absolutely no way Pain can really win this. In current Naruto he's outclassed by miles by the real top tier characters like Naruto.

^What NL said and Naruto had Killer Bee with him all those times too, I already noted specific instances in which he used clones, its more likely than not that he will.

What is pain going to do when his paths pass out? Theyre gonna be crushed by CST.

Naruto may not have beaten Pain fairly in their previous fight but he's like 50x stronger now. When he met up with zombie Nagato, he was preoccupied with like a dozen other things such as trying to talk to them about the current situation, and Nagato caught him off guard with the chameleon. If Naruto actually played this fight smart like he did with Kakuzu he wouldnt be in such a bad position.
