there are some good training videos of Lee out there sadly they don't completely show Lee in a very positive light - an amateur fighter did a break down of them and said he looked very sloppy like the type of guy who is primarily form based but lacked competitive experience

There is a difference between just knowing the reputation and actually researching a particular fighter. Yes Bruce Lee is very good but that alone is not everything.

pretty sure Lee's background was boxing brawling and wing Chun and what familiarity he had with Karate came from his friendship with chuck Norris that hardly makes you a Karate god

in fact as far as anything official documentation goes Lee's only formal training was in western boxing since that was the only actual tournament he ever won in his entire life (aside from ball room dancing)..i don't know if he even took lessons or trained to the same extent in any other MA..though he did obviously dabble

normally I don't care what nationality the actor is like recently Kurt russel is very pissed that Gerard Butler is playing Snake in an escape from NY reboot but Superman is an American Icon he represents everything this country represented at the height of its rise to power and embodied everything the average soldier thought the nation stood for when they were charging the beaches at Normandy and the like

he needs to be played by an American actor..or at least needs to embody those views as best as humanly possible if this guy Cavil can do it props to him I just think it should have been a yank;.
