ok i know that everyone flips out when they see this but come on!!! Cant u see all the evidence!? So Tobi almost Obito. Tobi and Obito are both clumsy and goofy. You can only see Tobi's right eye because his left eye cut out. And he probably wears a mask to deskise himself and becasue his whole face is destorted from the boulder! LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE!!!!!

Madara Uchiha is one of the founders of Akatsuki and the first possessor of the Mangekyo Sharingan, a rare form of the eye condition unique to the Uchiha. Though it gave him the strength needed to take control of the Uchiha clan, overuse of the Mangekyo Sharingan left him blind, and it was only by taking his own brother's eyes that he was able to regain his sight. Madara eventually banded together with Hashirama Senju to create Konohagakure. The two founders disagreed on who should lead their new village and after a momentous battle between the two it was believed that Madara had died. In later years the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konoha, an act Minato Namikaze says to have been Madara's doing, though Madara denies it. Once the fox was sealed by Minato, Madara infiltrated Konoha in secret, trained Itachi Uchiha, and subsequently assisted him in assassinating the Uchiha clan. Kisame Hoshigaki, upon seeing his face, recognizes him as the former Mizukage. Much of Madara's role in the series has been under the guise of Tobi,who replaces Sasori in Akatsuki after his death. While acting as Tobi he is carefree and goofy as opposed to Madara's usual serious self. Tobi's tendency to take credit for other's work and undermine his superiors annoys his partner, Deidara, who either blows up or strangles him in comical fashion as punishment. After Deidara dies during a battle with Sasuke, the Tobi persona is discarded as Madara takes a special interest in Sasuke's development. However, Madara has not completely outlived the use of his guise as he reassumes Tobi's personality on occasion, such as while delaying a group of Konoha ninja. Though Madara's face as it appeared during Konoha's founding has been shown in full at various points in the series, he always wears a mask in the current Naruto storyline. The mask features a swirl pattern focused around his right eye. His black hair (cut back from his earlier years) is the only constantly visible part of his face. When asked how Madara could have survived since Konoha's founding, Itachi Uchiha states that Madara is immortal. The specifics of his immortality have yet to be touched upon, though Madara implies the potency of his chakra has something to do with it. In battle he has been shown capable of making his body intangible, leaving him visible but otherwise impervious to most forms of damage. He can also teleport over great distances at will.

Yea, i agree with this. Plus in the manga it has already been confirmed that Tobi is Madara. Tobi/Madara was behind the Nine tailed Fox's attack on the Hidden Leaf village b4 it was put into naruto's body, and obito is dead. Not to mention that obito would have been very young when the 9-tailed fox attacked. Here check this website out:

I agree, except for the fact that madara is older.

Lets assume each hokage's rein was...hmmm


1st: 20yrs (madara was probably 20 when they fought)
Madra's age at end of rein: 50
2nd:20yrs
Madaras age at end of rein: 70
3rd:20yrs
Madaras age at end of rein: 90
4th:10yrs(died early)
Madara's age at end of rein: 100
Now since naruto is 16, then lets add that to madaras age.....116 is Madara's age

Obito and Madara are both Uchiha's, so what happened if obito came back and used the alias name "Madara"??? That would certainly be a surprise!!

wow exactly what i was about to say...i really believe that tobi is madara but there are gaps in the whole thing... i mean because tobi is a villain you cant trust what he says...i mean look at sertain things...ok the eternal sharingan... we have never seen what it actually looks like so that could be some made up bull by tobi to explain why you cant attack him...i think it is just as logical that obito used some sort of jutsu to alow his spirit to rome free that would explain the whole you cant attack me buisness

We've seen what it looks like, we just haven't seen his EMS after the fight with Hashirama. And I already made that theory, because it would be more likely if Madara used a jutsu to release his spirit and not Obito. Obito made no hand signs before he was crushed, and probably can't make hand signs through solid rock. What's more likely is that Madara used a jutsu where he died, but his spirit lived on, because not only would that explain his intangibility, it would also explain how he lived so long. Besides, that was a theory I already made.
