So we see in chp 503 pg 3, that Tobi when rasenganed by Minato was actually bleeding real blood from his left arm...what does this mean? any idea?

actually i'm making reference to the fact that his right arm when ripped off after the torune infection, was not blood but a white goo zetsu-like substance that flowed out... that's why i'm surprised...

I see... but there are a few differences...
If you look at Danso, he only had the DNA implemented in one of his arms... the same could be the fact for Tobi...
Another thing... remember that Tobi changes his mask everytime a huge change happens... he has changed his mask between these two events... so a lot could have happened.

maybe after the rasengan hit him..he had to amputate that arm and replace it with zetsu's white stuff...

That means he didn't receive his arm injury back until then .. proving once more that he didn't get his metallic arm as a result of the fight against Hashirama.

He got it at some point after he fought Yondaime.

Zetsu = right side - black Zetsu, left side - white Zetsu

Tobi = right side - white Zetsu, left side - black Zetsu

I think he was Madara, then. Someone probably took Madara's identity after that. I think so, because how else would Madara know Naruto? At the very beginning of the chapter, he says something about Naruto growing up.

Then why would he need a mask? Plus, he said Nagato, not Naruto.

Madara did die at the VotE, since he's still in his young form. Unless he split like Muu. That would also explain why he hasn't used EMS or anything, since he's not 100%

^that's impossible...how would he know Nagato then? He must have lived at least till hiruzen's time of hokage... that's around when Nagato was born.

You have to remember that this might not be Madara... Whoever Tobi is.
