So I just finished the last episode of After Story, and overall the series was great, although it was very sad.

I felt as if the ending was a cop-out though, nonetheless it was still great.

One of my favorite anime. Personally I think the story built up to the ending nicely, which in retrospect is probably why the anime is as popular as it is. I had a feeling after Misae and her cat's story arc that the ball of light granting a wish plot would end up playing a part in the ending anyway.

I love this anime. Great story. Great characters and their development. I almost cried twice in the original series and twice in after story. I just love it.... =) My favorite character is Kytomi and Tomoyo. The ending of the Fuko arc was the saddest part of the whole series, in my opinion.

I've seen it (the Original, the After Story, AND the movie), and i LOVED it

It's really amazing; the development, the characters and practically everything.

I'd recommend watching Kanon aswell (in some cases it's called Kanon 2006)
It's the same author who made it, and imo., it's a nice anime aswell ^^
