Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but I just finished playing through this game for the first time not long ago, and can easily say "How the heck did I miss out on this series for so long?" My favorite weapon is the Vigoorian Flail followed by the Eclipse Scythe.

i am burrowing the first game from a friend i saw the 2nd game in the store and almost picked it up but i dont want to pay for a uber hard game that is impossible to beat

I'd say it is. The story is basically non-existent, but the gameplay totally makes up for it. The Ultimate Techniques have gotten a major step up after the first game and the Vigoorian Flails were made even more awesome.

its not a impossible game yeah it was hard at times for me but i figured things out and beat the game.

sounds fun i played it for 360 once when i had my 360 what did the ps3 bring to it ?

I've played harder, but it isn't a cakewalk either. I'd compare the easy mode on this game to at least the normal mode on any of the Devil May Cry games(if you've played those, you know what I mean).

i played it a long time ago i still remember the game if i had a ps3 i would buy ninja gaiden sigma 1 and 2 for ps3 in a heart beat even tho i beat them i still miss playing the game.

From what i played i think the 1rst one is harder u get to a point were your low on health then boom a boss Fight

a key point in ninja gaiden games save as much health as u can aka dont get hit that many times and save your healing items cause a boss point usually happens when u get to a save point.
